Everything you need

This carry-on bag is anything and everything one could ask for. I was most impressed with the usage of space. The compartments are laid out perfectly in size to assure there is room to use all of the space available.

The Perfect Carry-on

I've used it several times

After traveling a bunch within the past few years, and always having that somewhat-sickening feeling waiting next to the baggage claim in another country hoping to see my bag come out, I finally decided it was time to expand the luggage collection and get a good carry-on for the smaller trips. After much back and forth, I finally decided on the Status Roller because of it's ability to expand. My husband got this model in the Carbon, and I got the ladies model (same exact bag, just different colors). We both love this bag. It's got ample space for a multi-day trip (clothes, shoes, and toiletries)- on one side there's a mesh zipper to hold your goods in, on the other side there are straps. We both use the Eagle Creek cubes, which really help with packing, so there's more than enough space! The zippers are easy to use, pockets are intuitive. I really like that the bag can expand, in case you're bringing home more than you originally left with. The wheels are also solid, and the telescoping handle is easy to use. The bag itself is the perfect carry-on size, and fits perfectly in the overhead bins. All in all, I can't say that either of us have any complaints, this bag is great!

I've used it several times

I have 2 other Dakine roller bags: over under 49L + and the 85L. Unlike the others, this one's interior (non-zip area) is not tight/streamline fit. So, there is some bagging in the compartment that has the compression straps. Not my favorite style, but otherwise the bag seems great. Good size overhead for a long weekend. With lots of room in the expanded/unexpanded area. Nice front with the laptop padded area and another without. Great 900D outer material (I got the Carbon). Will be using it this wkd so, will update my review for post usage :) UPDATE: Amazing. Fits enough for 4-6 days with several pairs of shoes, jeans, shorts, shirts, toliette and more. No problem with putting into overhead bin.

max packing

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

bought this bag a day before a trip last year and was afraid it would be too small. Had to use the expandable area on the way home to pack all the stuff I bought and it still fit perfectly in the overhead bin. great quality at a decent price.

Perfect size for carry on but can expand bigger to carry more gear and you can check your bag. Great to have options as you never know what you might end up coming home with.
