Ultimate winter warriors.

Whether you're moments away from dropping a cornice in AK or being hunted down by a rogue grizzly up in Glacier (don't worry, you escape), the Dakine Men's Kodiak Gore-Tex Gloves give you the tools to keep your hands exceptionally dry, warm, and comfortable. With a windproof, waterpoof, and breathable Gore-Tex insert, the Kodiaks ensure your mitts stay dry through even the wettest conditions, while the synthetic Primaloft insulation cranks the heat way, way up for a relentlessly toasty feel through freezing temps.

The durable, water-repellent leather construction adds defense against nasty weather and rough conditions, and is outfitted with Gore Grip technology for optimum tactility and overall better dexterity whether you're running avy tests or just shoveling the walk. A cozy wool lining keeps your hands warm even when wet, and naturally fights off the build up of funky odors for use multiple days in a row.

Less than impressed

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After researching and reading reviews I decided to go with these Kodiak gloves as my hands have trouble staying warm while alpine skiing. These gloves are supposed to be waterproof with the GoreTex lining. They are not waterproof and they are not warm. I also treated them with the supplied Nik Wax and they are not waterproof.

Great Gloves

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These gloves fit well and are well built. Have only used them on mild winter days so far, but they are extremely warm so expect they will hold up even on the coldest of days.

These are sweet

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Got these as a gift for my brother in law and when they arrived, I was even more excited to give them to him! Solid gloves, look great and although far too big for my hands...were very nice and warm when I put them on :)

Great Warm Glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love my light gloves for touring and sunny days, and my mittens for frigid days on the lifts. But for those days when it's super cold, but I still want/need some dexterity, these gloves are perfect. Mittens can't be beat for warmth, but if you need to remove them in order to get something from your pack, adjust your bindings, etc. then it kind of defeats the purpose. That's why a love like this is a great addition to the arsenal. Very happy with them so far as far as fit and finish goes as well, but haven't had them long enough to comment on longevity.

Fit is pretty normal, as you'd expect from Dakine who has made solid gloves for years. I'm a Large like 90% of the time for gloves and Large is great.

Hot hands!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Holy smokes these gloves are awesome! I do a lot of touring, so I'm spending a lot of time in the backcountry and need a pair of gloves that can deliver warmth in frigid conditions as soon as I put them on. With that being said, these gloves have been and will continue to be my go to. 230g of PrimaLoft insulation keeps my hands toasty no matter how cold it is. Water-repellent leather shell and palm will last years if you take care of them. My current pair is going on 4 years and have almost 300 days on them. Hands down my favorite pair of gloves I've ever owned.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I somewhat expected these gloves to last me half the season and was surprised to see that we will be going onto season number two! they were durable, some of the leather started to shed a little but hasn't progressed. they felt fairly broken in right away and can be used in a decent variety of temps.

Great Glove

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave these as a gift but i do have some feed back. I was told that they are a great durable glove, They are super warm and water proof. I gave him a size XL and he has really big hands and they seem to fit him great.
