Sure, you can understand why your friends might want padded gloves, but you covet the close-textured feel of your grips, and don't want to sacrifice tactile touch for cushion. Designers at Dakine understand where you're coming from, which is why they crafted up the Covert Women's Gloves. These streamlined gloves omit padding to keep you connected to the bars, but offer just enough protection on the back of your hand to shield from stray branches and trail debris.
The Coverts feature a 4-way stretch back with a Ax Suede UNO synthetic suede palm. Silicone gripper on the fingertips makes shifting easy. Because you don't want to remove your gloves to use your phone, the Coverts are touchscreen compatible. Finally, microfleece panels on the thumbs keep your nose from dripping.

Cute but not the most durable
- I've used it several times
- True to size
Good gloves, good ventilation, good grip. Only complain is the material above the thumb is soft for wiping your face but there's nothing underneath it which it makes it easy to rip.

Good fit and grip
- I've put it through the wringer
Initially it looked small, but once on your hand it literally “fits like a glove”. I typically wear size medium Womens gloves and that’s what I wear with this glove as well. The material is stretchy and soft and the fabric on the palms grips really well. After a couple of hours on the trail, with sweaty hands, the material on the palms can bunch up just a tad intermittently, but I find it easy to adjust and it has not bothered me. I would think this could happen with any tight-fitting, smooth glove like this. I’m really happy with my purchase and would definitely get another pair.
