Solid but not spectacular
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Very basic boot bag for which the price is as much a feature as its performance. Not as roomy as needed to carry helmets, gloves and other larger accessories, but if you don't need the room, this is a solid bag for the money.
Awesome
Love everything about it!
great for the price
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
love the stability of the boot bag, and not over priced.
Good boot bag
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This is my firs boot bag. Before I always just threw them in the bed of the truck. Since we were going to drive from Va to Co to ski at Wolf Creek I wanted something to offer protection. Good thing we did we drove in a winter storm for 1000 miles. The boots came out of the bed dry even though I don't think that was their design.
Carries boots and my helmet in the main compartment then my goggles and ski glasses in the zippered pouch.
Only complaint is the shoulder strap it does not center the boots well when using it to carry them so I just took it off. Despite this I would buy them again and would recommend them to friends.
Spacious Boot Bag that Does the Trick
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
As expected from Dakine. A roomy boot bag with plenty of space for gloves and goggle case. I wear a size 30 boot and am able to squeeze my helmet in the main compartment. The bag is not padded so a little extra care needs to be taken when loading and unloading. Plan on using the handle straps because the shoulder strap, or lack thereof, is not comfortable whatsoever. Overall this bag does what it is advertised to do and is very convenient for keeping your boots and gear in one place.
Does the job
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Its made of good material and will last you a long time if you keep care of it.
Not as advertised
Website notes backbag straps: yes. Product has no backpack straps. Otherwise, appears to be fine product, but I wanted backpack straps so returned.
Quality boot carrying device.

It does the advertised job. Would recommend.
It carries your boots, plus more
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Will hold my alpine boots with helmet, gloves, goggles.
Everything you expect
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
This boot bag is really nice. It has enough room for your boots, gloves, and plenty more gear. It's made out of nice material and I don't question it's durability. It's not super padded; however, so if you're looking for a boot bag to travel with I'd look elsewhere. If you're a local looking for a bag to get you up the canyon then this is perfect. Design is sweet, colors are awesome. Solid boot bag.
Roomy, not padded
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
When I used this bag for the first time I was surprised that I was able to fit my size 29.5 ski boots, gloves, helmet and goggles in the main compartment with the extra outer pocket empty. Really roomy back for packing your things in there, but when flying be gently placing it in the overhead bin. There is zero padding in this bag and a few of my boot buckles paid the price.
One note is that the shoulder strap is not comfortable at all, so plan on carrying this bag by the hand straps.
Good bag, lots of space
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
If you need a boot bag, this a good one. Plenty of room for boots and some extras. Very sturdy and well made. Also, use it to store boots in the summer.

No frills, this is a simple boot bag. It is padded enough that you won't have any issue with it rolling around and damaging anything on the drive to the mountain. Can fit a little extra inside, such as helmet, goggles, and spare socks. Seems like it will hold up to years of abuse.
Solid Boot Bag
Perfect Boot bag. I can fit my boots + a Helmet and some other small things all in the main compartment of the bag.
I have this bag and 27.5 boots and there is no way you can get a helmet in there with the boots. Otherwise it's a fine bag.
Great boot bag
Keeps my boots toasty in the off months
CT
Bought this bag as a gift for my husband to replace his thin, shabby old one. He's not using it. Says it doesn't fit all his stuff. Size 12 ski boots, hat, gloves, goggles and now helmet. Still using the old one. Thinking of returning it. Too bad, it's a nice bag.
Does the job!
Used it for its intended pupose on one trip. Works well!
Decent bag for travel
Bought this with the DAKINE Fall Line Single Ski Bag so that I can check them during flight. This worked out well for my boots and some extra stuff. Be careful with the front pocket, be sure to secure the zipper pulls well otherwise they come apart pretty easily during transit. When I picked up my bag from the baggage claim, there was a gaping hole between the zipper pulls.. luckily everything important was still there.
Also, be sure to take the shoulder strap off and pack it before checking it.
Otherwise, it looks good and worked well as a boot bag.
Bomber is GREEN
I have the boardbag version of the Bomber color... its from the same series and construction is good, quality seems and its inexpensive... the bags run a tad bit small so keep that in mind (55 board, fits perfect in 57bag). The Bomber color is green and white, its different, but looks nice... will never have to worry about not finding your luggage. Also note there's not really any insulation or padding in the bags other than tarp material inside. Love my bag and would recommend it to some1 else.

does this bag have any other pockets for goggles, gloves etc?
It has a main compartment for boots, and a smaller pocket accessed from the outside for your other stuff, like goggles or gloves. It's not that big, but you could probably fit a pair of goggles and one pair of glove in it. I usually just pack my gloves in with my boots though.
My boot size are 7 and I can put my knee pads with the boots and two pairs of gloves in the front pouch. I keep my goggles with my water pack.
