    Slim, fast, and maneuverable.

Slip those little booties on your dog’s paws, strap the Crescent Moon Women’s Gold 13 Snowshoe to your boot, and hit your favorite trail for your morning outing. Crescent Moon designed this shoe with a woman’s shorter, narrower stride in mind, so you don’t have to waddle to avoid tripping over yourself. Which is good, because you already have to pay attention so as not to trip on your exceptionally clueless mutt; good thing the Gold 13 is so maneuverable.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are fantastic shoes! I have used them several times now. The design and function of them make the activity so enjoyable I can’t see how anyone would not want to partake in the adventure. I also took my Mom up for her very first snowshoeing experience. She was worried that they would be clunky and hard to maneuver around. She was VERY happily surprised at just how easy it was for her to walk in the snow with these.

I found them to be easy to get on and off and especially super lightweight. While I traded with my Mom, I was using some MSRs that were not even close in comparison. Flat out……. these are the best snowshoes I have ever had on my feet! Which now means that every other pair will ”pale in comparison”.

Winter may be over on the calendar her but not according to Mother Nature. 

Thanks so much Crescent Moon. Keep up the fantastic work. It shows!

    my first real snowshoes!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are my first pair of snowshoes and I'm in love. They're not your snowshoes of old (i.e. wood and rawhide tennis racket style), which as a Canadian, we all had to learn how to use during high school gym class.

These are really light and maneuverable. And they're not as wide as men's snowshoes, or old-style snowshoes, so you're much less likely to trip.

They're really easy to get on and take off, even when I have my mittens on. And I have yet to find a pair of shoes that won't fit in them.

    Light, agile, and pretty!

    These are fabulous snowshoes:
1)they are noticeably lighter than other non-race women snowshoes in the price range

    2) the design is thoughtful - they are a bit narrower than the men version, so you don't trip up

    3) very quick pull adjustment over the top of the foot, and easy adjustable back strap will accommodate all kinds of boots and feet sizes

    4) the teal color is SOOOOOO pretty

What makes Crescent Moon so great?

Here's a quick video on who the company is and what makes their snowshoes so different from other brands. All of their snowshoes are made in Colorado (that's different!) and the binding system is recognized as "great" with an anatomical fit; beautiful frames and overall design make these shoes beautiful to look at - and even better to wear.

I'm 6ft1 and 155 lbs -- probably right at 165 with gear. Am I right to think I'm not the woman these snowshoes were designed for -- and better off with the Crescent Moon Gold 9?
