Rough rotation.

My Eggbeaters and Mallet E's are silky smooth as they rotate. I bought the orange Stamp 7's in small from Competitive Cyclist and another site. All 3 sets that I tried have a roughness to the rotation. I sent them all back.

Great pedals, tons of grip

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I put these on my canyon spectral. I have a 14w foot and they feel great, they are the biggest pedals I have had and they are awesome so far after a couple rides. I noticed today I actually reposition my feet a bit while riding especially my right foot. These actually have so much grip it was impeding that slightly. I haven't adjusted the pins yet but I may screw them in a bit to adjust it. I'm sure that is not a typical problem and most people want maximum grip. I would guess when I adjust them a little they will be perfect.

The best pedals I have ever owned. Those pedals give me so much more confidence when jump. It's almost like I am glued to the pedals. I wear size 13 5ten Freeriders so I went with the size large pedal. The pedals look awesome. You won't be disappointed if you get CB Stamp 7 pedals. Update: As you can see I was pretty stoked at first, and I gave this product 5 stars initially. It was finally time to replace the pins, and that's when the troubles started. I only could get about half of the pins out because of the wear. Believe me, I tried everything to get them out. So now I have half new pins and half worn out pins. The problem is that you have to screw out the pins from the top, and if the top wears out, which it does when you have pedal strikes, then you are not able to get the pins out. I still think the grip is excellent. However, after less than a year of use, I will have to replace them, which makes those pedals far too expensive.

Try using a dremel tool and grind a flat head into the pin.

i'm sure u've tryed it already....but- drill out with ti bit and tap (drill not cutting) fluid...i m sure u've already exhausted every punch & drill/easy-out scenario...yea, bad design

Could have went with the large

I've used it several times

I wear a size 10 shoe US. I bought size small after measuring my old pedals. Whilst fitting the new stamps I just felt like I had a set of baby pedals. Though they were only 2 mm shorter both ways they felt like a total different size pedal than I was on. They feel fine after a day on the trail. I will buy these pedals again but next time I will size up.

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I had the Crank Brothers Stamp 3 Large Pedals before getting these smaller and lighter ones. It’s nice having the smaller pedal since they keep you from getting lazy and you hit less stuff. These pedals are super durable and fun to use on my Salsa El Mariachi!

Good platform, but too close to crank

The pedal is great and gets the job done. The large size will make sure you don't miss your strokes. The pedal itself installs too close to the crank, so be aware there is no long spindle in these pedals.

Stamp it out.

I've used it several times

I wear a size 10 shoe and picked up the small version of the Stamp 7 pedals. I was anxious to try something a little bit thinner than my Vaults as I was getting a lot of pedal strikes. First thing you are going to want to do with the stamps is turn the grub screws out about 2-3 turns. They just don't stick up enough to offer the kind of grip I was looking for. I tend to spin a higher cadence on the bike and when I get in to some pedally tech features my feet will slip off. My only other complaint is that I would like to see a longer spindle to move the pedal just a little bit farther away from the crank arm. The fit and finish is excellent and I really like the look of them. We'll see how they pan out over the next few months

Will Crank Brothers Satmp 7 work with carbon crank that also has a crank boot protector on?

Hello Dee, Yes it will work with carbon arms and crank boot. I have used this on X01 crankset with no issues.
