Meet the storm's match.
While the company's Bike Tech jacket holds the do-it-all crown, Craft's Adapt Storm Jacket performs many of the same tricks while saving you a good chunk of cash at the same time, compared to the Bike Tech.
As mentioned, the Adapt Storm jacket can handle nearly everything the top-shelf Bike Tech jacket can — it's got "storm" in its name for a reason, after all. The jacket is made entirely of VentAir X Wind fabric, an extremely impressive bit of engineering, given that it's incredibly tough, light, and stretchable, all while being windproof and waterproof. The fabric, combined with a light mesh interior, is extremely good at removing moisture from the jacket's interior and transferring it to the outside, so the jacket breathes very well. If that doesn't promise enough flexibility for various riding conditions, consider that the "Adapt" bit of its name refers to the removable sleeves that quickly and easily zip off to transform the jacket into a vest -- or vice versa, in case you're still out and about when the temperatures start to drop precariously.
The Adapt Storm doesn't get the Bike Tech's eVent soft-brushed interior, so it won't feel quite as warm in the lowest of temperatures, and the jacket's seams are not taped, so in extreme conditions, some exterior moisture or wind may penetrate, but this would only happen on extremely long, torrential rides. The jacket has two open rear pockets and one waterproof zippered pocket out back, and there are highly visible graphic details incorporated into the design to ensure you stay visible at night.
The Craft Adapt Storm Jacket is available in the colors Black, Royal/ocean, and Amino/black, and in five sizes, from Small to XX-Large.
