Teca Half-Zip Windbreaker

The Cotopaxi Teca Half-Zip Windbreaker is lightweight and highly packable so you can take a bit of weather protection wherever you roam. Windy commutes around town or quick hikes through questionable weather aren't a problem for this pullover's DWR-treated taffeta fabric. This polyester fabric is completely repurposed, meaning that it's material that might have gone to waste, but instead Cotopaxi took it and made it into something more useful. Because of that, every Teca Windbreaker comes in an original style that have subtle differences in coloring than other Teca Windbreakers. This pullover packs into its own pocket so you can take it wherever.

My new windbreaker

What I needed. It is light, pretty and responsibly made. It is an ideal windbreaker for tropical climates on days without heavy rain, perfect for afternoons and nights in the windy city or for adventures in the forests and beaches on days without storms. Greetings from Costa Rica. ¡Pura Vida!

Half-Zip Full-Comfort

With Cotopaxi you can rest assured knowing you will get noticed. I have two of these packable, yes, packable windbreakers and they are absolute stunners. Perfect for the early morning run, or hiking when the dew still kisses the woods. They keep you comfortable when it gets chilly, and don’t overheat you if it gets a bit warmer. If it’s too warm out just fold it up and pack it, it is a packable, why not? I carry mine around just for the added security of knowing I’ve got a jacket when I need it.

Loved the design and quality

Loved the design and quality however the material is extremely thin and can't be used as a wind breaker or a rain jacket.

Super duper light

Weighs almost nothing really and folds small (as big as its internal pocket) and you can fold that in half again, compress out the air and it will fit into most of Cotopaxi's waist packs and pouches. I've machine washed them many times and air dried fine, the water repellency still works. I got 2 on rotation and 1 each for the men in my household. They normally like solid single colors but don't seem to mind the mish mash of colors on these. They also make great gifts because they fold small and won't use much wrapping paper. Though thin, the material does an excellent job in keeping both rain and wind out. A tip: buy 1-2 sizes bigger if you often carry day packs so they can also cover them in a jiffy.

Highly recommend.

Bought for the guys in my family in assorted colors and sizes, they are all tall and lanky, bought sizes M, L, XL... I have 2 for myself already and love them. They are microthin, fold compactly, fit into lumbar packs even the 3L Kapai, and weigh next to nothing. Serves purpose as rain cover in light to moderate precipitation. Not recommended for downpours and storms. Machine washable and air dry. Tip: buy 2 sizes up if you want it to be able to also cover your backpack, or wear over layers.

Half zip Windbreaker

Love the jacket! I wasn't sure how big or small they would run so I ordered big. It came just a bit big but will work great!

Looks cool, fits weird

I'm a Medium in almost every brand so when putting this on it's a bit tight but it's a bit of a hassle when taking off. It's very boxy meaning if you have the slightest broadness of shoulders you have to take it off one arm, over the shoulder, then the other side. It also isn't stretchy whatsoever so you feel the struggle taking it off. It's also a bit shorter than I'd like. It's still wearable and looks great but this is definitely made for the really slim and thin framed individuals.
