Works great
I’ve taken this to music festivals, around Europe and on hikes. It’s great for so many different things and I like how it sits on my hips!

Great Bag for Mountainbiking
I purchased this bag as an alternative to my CamelBak hydration backpack. The CamelBak has worked great for years, but I was looking for a waist pack. I saw the Cotopaxi Lagos 5L Hip Pack, which was on sale at the time, so I decided to get it. I've only taken it on two short rides, but it works well.

The best so far
I have had five lumbar packs. So far this is the best. It has more capacity for water than any other without getting too heavy. In Arizona it gets hot fast. I can carry extra water bottles on the outside and the loop secured them well. It feels stable and easily adjusted. The phone pocket being external to main compartment is perfect and big enough for a very large phone. Sheads rain and cleans easy. This is very close to another company that starts with a D, without giving it away. The magnet hose is priceless. Overall best functionality of any pack

Awesome Fanny Pack!!!
I was attracted by the color combo, green and blue, my FAVE colors! I was intrigued with the amount of pockets and zippers, and the flow of the drinking hose was perfect!

Best Hip Pack ever
I’m a larger person and was really happy that the hip strap was long enough to fit my waist. The padding makes it super comfortable. I got this so I could walk hands-free and take items like binos and mini art supplies on my walks with me. I hardly notice it’s there. Super happy with this purchase.

Great for light hiking
Great for my size. (30-32 inch waist) The straw just makes it to the clip. I can see how it wouldn’t work for a bigger person or bigger in the middle.

The Perfect “In-Between” Option
I do a lot of international trekking so need to carry my full pack along with a fanny pack for my passport and cash (you can’t imagine the bulk of bills it takes in Nepal to carry $500 in NPR!). While I wouldn’t be likely to carry this pack on the treks, there is always a day or two in cities between arriving in country and heading out on the trail. During these days, I need something for carrying a water bottle and my journal while sightseeing. I sometimes buy a shoulder bag in the city (which I’m always worried I will forget at a restaurant and leave behind) or carry one of my dry bags (which I worry will tear because of the weight). Not only are both of these options unruly they are also insecure when in towns known for people with sticky fingers. This new bag is the perfect in-between size. I can carry my journal and small purchases, I have a separate section for my critical documents, and the water bladder keeps my hands-free. The hose ensures I will drink more often and the bladder’s capacity means I won’t have to worry about filtering water when I’m out and about. And, an added benefit is that the 2 L bladder is usually ample for a day hike at home or out in the wild where I have frequent access to water I can filter. For those who take treks with lots of side day hikes, this would a good choice to use in lieu of a smaller fanny pack.

I got one for my sister and myself and we both love them for day hikes. Wanted to get the weight of water off my back/shoulders and this is very comfortable on the hips. Fits everything we need. My sister is a size 18 and the hip strap fits but the water tubing does not fit around to the magnet. You can tuck it under the strap elsewhere though. We love them!

Bought for Birding
I bought this pack because I have a hiking backpack with a hydro pack and I really like it, but I live in the desert and I can only hike and bird early in the morning for a few hours before it becomes too hot to stay out. The backpack would make me sweat way more than I was comfortable with, especially given I didn’t need that much room for supplies when I knew I’d be done before lunch. I got this on 50% discount because I’m currently on a budget, but wanted to jump on the opportunity given I still have 2-3 months of this weather to come and I have really enjoyed it. It’s nice to look at, sturdy, and has a good feel around the waist. My only issue is that I gained some weight during Covid and the hose and magnet will randomly just pop off their base until I give up and tuck it into the loop. If you are also a bit thicker around the hips/waist, you’ll also need to figure out a trick to keep the hose from dangling. Overall though, for 50% off and with the other benefits I get from a comfortable and hands-free way to carry 2L of water while trekking about in the desert, I cannot complain and I recommend it for anyone in a similar boat.

Inside of pack is a bit small. Organization pockets are a little difficult to access when fully packed. Front pocket is definitely difficult to access when bag is fully packed. Hydration bag is awesome though, and great for mountain biking and day hikes. Just be prepared to pack lean. Stylish as always.
