Over the past month that I spent travelling Europe with these they have proven themselves quite worthy.
The lenses are great. They don't scratch easily and the polarization is top notch.
The downside I've had with them (As well as all sunglasses, so it may just be me) is they slide slowly down my nose if I'm hiking or doing any other activity that makes me sweat. When used for "low energy" activities like driving they are fantastic, they stay right where I put them.
Great clarity, nose pads rub
These sunglasses provide great clarity and polarization. The kind you'd expect for that price, and from Costa Del Mar. My only complaint is the nose pads. They chafe the sides of your nose, and leave little indentions when you take them off, even after a few minutes. Sure, this happens with sunglasses, but these more than others.
I could be wrong, and perhaps they're not fitted for me, but I believe I get a bit of visual distortion from them. Not much, but enough for me to notice.
If not off SAC or at a discounted price, it's hard for me to recommend these.
