Really Nice Glasses for Big Heads
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I purchased these about a month ago, and these are ALMOST perfect. I have a big head (7 3/4 hat size) and I usually have trouble finding glasses that fit, but they fit me perfectly. I will quickly run through the good and the bad, then you can decide if these will work for you:
THE GOOD: These fit wonderful on larger heads with a wide nose bridge. They are super light, and Costa's 580 lens technology is pretty awesome. I have always been very biased towards the copper lens, so that is what I picked up and I love them.
THE BAD: These glasses seem like they have potential to be really fragile, and one thing that Costa gets very bad marks at are their warranty program. They say it is a lifetime limited warranty, but in my experience it takes a long time to get your glasses back (2 months or more sometimes), and issues that you would assume would be covered sometimes aren't covered and you end up paying out of your own pocket. It is because of this that the product gets 3 stars instead of 5.
So, if you are looking for a nice pair of rimless glasses that are lightweight and look great then these are awesome. If you are buying the glasses with the expectation that you will be hard on them and you might need to use the warranty someday, just know you might be disappointed.
