If between, size up

I’m a vest gal and I was a little worried about sizing with this one. In tops, I’m usually a medium. I also own Columbia’s “Place to Place” vest, which I love, in a medium. But looking at the model, I worried about a close fit under the arms which is something I CANNOT tolerate, so I sized up to large and it is just right. I hoped it would not be a boxy fit as described by a previous review, and it is not. Also, I found the collar to be soft and perfectly pliable, unlike another review. It’s a keeper. For reference I am 5’4” #125 and a bit larger in the hip area
