Voodoo Falls 590 Turbodown Jacket

There's so much warmth and lightweight versatility packed into the Columbia Men's Voodoo Falls 590 Turbodown Jacket that it seems almost, supernatural. Summoning their magical powers, the designers over at Columbia stirred the cauldron and came up with 590 TurboDown insulation. This technology seamlessly blends 550-fill duck down with 40g of synthetic, Microtemp XF II insulation for furnace-like warmth in teeth-chatteringly cold conditions. Backing up the other-worldly insulation, an OmniHeat Reflective lining traps your body heat and bounces it back to your core for more defense against wayward, dark forces. Adjustable drawcords at the hem and hood let you cinch down your situation depending on the weather, and elastic binding at the cuffs deliver a plush, snug fit. Not to mention, multiple zippered pockets give you safe transport of your talismans and keep them right where you want them, for when you need them—because, you never know.

  • Toasty, lightweight down jacket for cold-weather activities
  • Water-resistant fabric keeps precipitation at bay
  • Synthetic and duck down insulation provide warmth
  • Adjustable hood and hem help block out weather
  • Zippered pockets keep valuables close at hand
  • Regular fit boosts freedom of movement
  • Item #COL01D1

Great winter jacket to keep warm in cold temps. Packable and lightweight. Also works well as a layer when you need an additional waterproof shell for rain or snow.

From day 1, this coat has leaked down out of many of the seams. I bought it as a cheaper alternative to patagonia or north face. I should have ponied up the money for the more expensive brands.

Hi Scott, do you mean leaking water or heat?

Good jacket

I gave this jacket as a gift, it is lightweight but bulky so a travel vacuum bag will be useful; it does the job, good wind isolation and keeps you warm. Works well also as a rain cover if it is not a heavy rain, below 40s you may need an additional layer. One of the downsides is that its sleeves are unexpectedly long.

This is by far one of the best Columbia products I've ever owned. It has very quickly become my favorite go to jacket. I wear it all winter. It's so lightweight yet does a great job of keeping me warm. It's water resistant so when my body heat melts the snow that lands on the jacket, it beads off instead of soaking through. It's also one of the most comfortable jackets I've ever worn and I love wearing it while out playing with the dogs in the snow.

I gave this item as a gift and it was a hit. Fits perfects, looks great on, light weight enough that you can certainly use this as a layer under a shell without it looking super puffy, but warm enough to offer a comfy jacket for those chilly fall and winter days. I am very pleased with this gift and I think it will work wonderfully for him for years to come.
