Titanium Snow Country Hooded Jacket

Part of Columbia's Titanium collection, the Men's Snow Country Hooded Jacket is an innovative insulator that looks and feels like a down puffy but provides better defense in wet weather for a better performance on the mountain. Its Thermarator synthetic insulation issues down-like loft for lightweight warmth that stays warm even if it happens to get wet. Regular down loses its lofty warmth in wet weather, and this jacket stays warm in snowy, rainy conditions. Columbia wrapped this innovative insulation in water-resistant ripstop fabric for extra defense, and an Omni-Heat 3D lining boosts warmth by bouncing body heat back your way.

Good jacket but...

Pros: My jacket arrived today! Jacket is very lightweight and warm. Haven't really tested it outside. Beautiful design(aside from logos). No down fathers coming out of it is always a plus. Cons: Runs somewhat slim. The problem I'm having is the stitching under the armpit is so thick you feel it right away unless you choose a bigger size than jacket might not sit well. I think this is a major design flaw for such pricey jacket! Not a fan of all the logos especially the one on the back. I wish they were stitched.

Warm for the weight

Thus coat is warm for the weight and fits very well in the chest but a little long on the arms. The only bad thing is when I washed the jacket some of the stitching came undone.

Warmth Without Bulk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves this jacket. I bought it for him two years ago. The outside of the jacket and inside lining have held up well. He truthfully gets hot and has to unzip the jacket or take it off all together. Don’t underestimate the tech. The logos, however, came off in the washing machine at some point. Not that I care so much about logos, but they shouldn’t peel off.

Great Insulated Jacket for Moderately Cold Weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this jacket, my only regret is that I didn't have it earlier in the year! I'm 6'2" and 165 lbs (i.e. tall and lanky haha) and ordered a medium. It does a great job of keeping me warm on cool mornings, and seems to do a great job at keeping the wind out. It seems moderately good at repelling water, but seems it may start to soak in if it sits too long. My one complaint is that there were many hanging threads all over the jacket from its construction, which takes away from its appeal. However, I was able to burn them, so now it looks more tidy and put together. Overall, this jacket is awesome, and fits me incredibly well. I'm excited to use it for some upcoming backpacking trips!

This product exceeds my expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi there, I am very satisfied and happy with the product that I have purchased. The only thing I could say is that price could be little bit less than I paid for. When I review your website I saw similar products almost half price. I am sure that they have different futures, quality and function but still when I look at it they all look the same. best
