Spending hours on the water, jigging for salmon, can crisp our shoulders. We slip on the Tidal and pull up its integrated gaiter to deflect harmful rays, quieting our shoulders' anxiety. New Favorite Hiking Shirt
I love the way this shirt doubles as a long sleeve layer if it’s chilly at the start of my hike and turns into a powerful sun deflector as the day heats up! So far I think it’s worth the money. The built in gaitor is a plus for Covid too

On the bigger side of a large
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have issues with heat and don't sweat enough to keep myself cool. This shirt is amazing kept me cool on a 40+ mile slow bike ride during a 80 degree day. Not so great on keeping me warm on a 50 degree day as a base layer under a fleece. It feels nice on my skin, it comfortable to wear, fits a woman's proportions. The large is a bit on the bigger side but wasn't worth sending back because it felt good having the extra space for the breeze to flow through. I'm 5'2" and 130lbs, small chested. If I bought a second one I'd get a medium. It's held up to several washes and will easily be a favorite summer activity shirt!

good product
Nice material and it seems like it will protect one well from the sun. Is a bit shiny, but still attractive. Haven't worn it as yet but did try it on. Will wear for kayaking and hiking.

Does its job well

This sun shirt works perfectly, I just can't give it 5 stars due to style/design. The fabric is a bit weird; it's shiny and reminds me of scales, and isn't as soft as the sun shirt my boyfriend has from a different brand. The logo on the sleeve is huge and the letters kind of look like stickers have just been put on the arm. I can appreciate the utility of the built in neck gaiter, but it makes it a litter weird putting on the shirt. I got the 'dolphin' color and it's a more gray-blue than blue. I like the color and the fit, and it does keep me cool and limits the need to apply sunscreen to my entire body.

Great Shirt, Shinier Than I Expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shirt is very comfortable and functional, and I would buy more if there were additional color choices (I'm not a pastel person). The pictures show a more muted fabric than the actual item. I like the built-in face shield and would like to see this feature in additional Columbia products.

Great quality, very functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loooooove the built in gaitor. Great for covid and for protecting your face. I got this one and immediately ordered another in a different color. Will use this for many different activities :)

Lightweight - Excellent Tops
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 1 of each color available to replace my old shirts...since I ride a recumbent trike, I needed something to keep the harmful rays (this dies - UPF 50 sun protection), not be clingy to the skin, and have a hood to protect my head...added benefit that this shirt has is that there is a built-in gaiter to use as a face mask (now I don’t have to wear a separate one) and thumb holes (never used them before and really like them now). The shirt kept me feeling cool and refresh the entire ride (my old riding shirts I’d want to ditch within 30 minutes) and has a nice reflective so you can be seen. The size does runs true for this shirt - I am 5’3 and weight 135 pounds and wear a size medium...I was at first worried in that it wouldn’t fit (my husband wears Columbia shirts in size small and it is too big for me) but I went with what folks said about this top and was glad I did so. I would love it if Columbia will come out with a nice cherry red and high-vis yellow in this top.

Keeping cool in SC
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shirt for South Carolina hot and humid weather. I have to stay covered from our intense sun rays and also need to be cool. Perfect weight fabric and love having the hood to protect my hair. Fabric is so light and airy next to your skin, going to order more colors.

So nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's so pretty! I was surprised by the shimmering material, looks way better then the picture :) It's true to size, very comfortable. It's 5 stars for all, I only wish it come with more colors... I would definitely but more of these.

Tidal deflector is perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fits true to size and is truly multiversatel. I ordered it for the sun protecting coverage and wind coverage with the built in face shield ( which I have been able to use currently when I am in public and forget my mandatory face mask). I have long arms, hands, and fingers so the thumb holes don't work for me (this is true for all thumb-hole shirts, not just Columbia). Overall, shirt feels light-weight and does not cling to my skin. My husband loves the color on me.
