Caribbean sun and snorkeling and zero sunburn
Caribbean sun and snorkeling have nothing on this shirt. Had this shirt on the whole time even in the water and zero sun burn. I couldn’t believe how fast it dried and cool the long sleeves are. It doesn’t give that sticky feeling on your skin either. Be prepared for people to ask what type shirt it is and if they can touch it lol. It’s cool looking.

Very disappointing model
I have an extensive wardrobe of Columbia shirts and pants. Living in Scottsdale I thought a heat deflecting shirt would be ideal for hiking. Unfortunately, the material does not breathe, certainly when compared to the typical PFG long sleeve shirt, so while the dots may deflect some sun it is much too hot to wear, even in cooler weather. I would NOT recommend purchasing this model.

Does NOT fit to size
My husband really likes this shirt. But, I ordered a medium and he looked like a clown. He is 5'11, 165 lbs and always wears a medium. I had to contact Columbia for an exchange to a small. The sleeves on the small are still too long, but at least the rest of the shirt now fits. And, as I said, he loves the style and material.

Looks Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sent this shirt to my brother for his birthday. He was thrilled, and even sent a pic of himself wearing it. His comments were, "Comfy with excellent sun protection and wicking features."

Merman shirt!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So ordered this, took it out of the box, and then returned it. While I am sure the shirt works as advertised, it looks like it has tiny sequins all over it that are reflective. The result is the shirt looks like part of a mermaid/ merman outfit. I would say great for ladies, but not the best gentleman's shirt in terms of style. With that said, if the style doesn't turn you away then I'm sure it's fine!

Looks Like Glitter
This shirt is SHINY. You can't tell at all in the pictures, but the "tiny dots that reflect the sun" are super reflective even indoors. It looks like it is covered in glitter or bedazzled or something. It is super comfortable and the color is good, but the look of the reflectors brings it down from a 5-star shirt.

Awesome sun protection but looks nerdy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric on these shirts is amazing for sun protection. Its really helpful to be able to work outside all day and not have to worry about reapplying sunscreen. My only gripe is that the fabrics and color choices are not very stylish. I would be embarrassed to wear this shirt in public but for long days of yardwork it's really served the purpose. I'm normally an XL in other brands but an L fits me well for these shirts.

Not typical cut/dimensions - too long
I have several Columbia Omni-Freeze PFG long sleeve shirts and they fit well, this shirt is much longer in the torso than the other PFG shirts I have, 4" longer. All my Columbia shirts are size small, I wear a medium in most other brands. I am 5'8", 160 lbs, the shirt falls just below the crotch of my pants. The front torso measurement from the collar to the bottom is 28", the measurement on my other size small PFG shirts is 24". The sleeves are 1" longer than my other PFG shirts. Also, there is no shoulder seam, the sleeve seam is at the collar, which makes the shirt look unfitted at the shoulders. The other proportions of the shirt are good for a size small. The only size issue for me is the torso length. The fabric quality is very good as is the print and color design. I will keep the shirt and have the bottom hem adjusted.
