Cozy but not so practical in heavy snow

These are perfect shoes when walking on plowed surfaces; they were so toasty and comfortable to wear. I did not love the top of the boot when walking in deeper snow. It is hard to tighten the top of the boot enough to keep snow out of them and I had to dust off my shoes and pants many times. I wish I considered this before purchasing or else I would have chosen another boot.

My first winter boots!

In preparation for winter, I bought this -my first ever winter boots and when I received them, woohh more beyond my expectations! -fits well to narrowed feet like me. I ordered the usual size I am wearing for hiking with this brand. They are very cute and warm but if your feet are wide, I wouldn’t suggest purchasing. I have always loved the Columbia brand! They are not that cheap, but I have never had anything but durable, comfortable, and long time wear from Columbia -i hope with this purchase too. Thank you Columbia!

Back stitching worn after 5 uses

Back stitching is loose and boot layers came apart with only 5 uses. It’s been worn and I’m going to try sending in for warranty but it’s at my cost to ship. A merchandise credit is also not ideal if I’m hesitant to purchase shoes of this price again. I also would prefer they last more than 5 uses and work multiple winters for the price.

Comfy & cute but not really for snow if you like dry socks. Great for hypothermia tho.

These are fashion boots, not to be taken seriously as winter boots. I do love these and from the ankle down, they are the perfect boot. For me they were true to size and I walked 9 miles in them right out of the box with no issues. However, unless you cover the fur trim with waterproof pants, they are a portal for snow and moisture to get down into your socks. Had I not foolishly recycled the box I would have returned. Maybe in the next version, I'd love to see an option to fold in or secure the top so the fur trim doesn't get wet.

Warm, comfy and great tread!

I spent hours and hours looking at reviews for a pair of snow boots that are actually waterproof, super warm and super comfy for all of my winter snowday hiking needs and this pair met those expectations! I originally thought I’d get something more “classic poofy snowboot style “, however the reviews for most of those complained of them not actually being warm or waterproof. So far after shoveling the driveway from 3 snowstorms and a few 3-5 mile hikes in the snow I’m impressed! So warm and comfy and I have had 0 moisture in my shoes. My only complaint would be that the foldover design of the fur on top, albeit very cute and soft, allows for snow to come in the top if you don’t have pants tucked tightly into the boot. Other than that they are so cute, warm and comfy! I ordered a half size up from my normal size to be able to wear a thick sock and they fit great.

The toe bed is too short

Loved everything about this boot. However the toe part is too short for long toes. If I go a size up they will fit too big. too bad they were super cozy. If you have shorter toes you will love.

Not warm

These are waterproof but not warm enough for New England winters at all. I bought these to be able to play outside with the kids and within 20 minutes of being outside I cannot feel my feet. Disappointed. I found them to run small.

So comfy!

Not exactly what I was expecting but I LOVE these boots. They are so comfy, easy to get on. I wear them everyday and the soles still feel like the day I got them a over a month ago. They are so nice and warm. Another review said they run large but I ordered a half size up and was happy I did because they would have been too small otherwise. Especially if you like wearing large socks, I’d recommend sizing up at least a half size. Only complaint, and reason for taking one star off, is if you don’t tighten the laces right snow WILL get in the boot. When tightened right the fur at the top keeps it from happening at all. overall LOVE them and would definitely get again.
