Perfect pants for adventures
We’ve been sizing up in these since my son was two. I’ve looked at and tried a lot of hiking pants and these are the absolute best in terms of fit and performance. Holding up to the scrambling over rocks and trees as well as playing with his trains - have multiple pairs and not one hole or tear yet. , They dry lightning fast when they get wet splashing in puddles, rainy hikes or tide pool exploration. Also a magic like ability to give these pants a brush off when they get dirty and have them look presentable in seconds …..very handy lol

Great pant but sizing issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this pant for my 4 yo son. They are comfortable and quick drying. Not sure if all of columbia toddler/youth sizing is this way, or if it was just these pants, but the sizes are a bit off. I originally ordered the XXS in the pants and the length was just like a tad long which is fine, but the waist was too big. ( my son is taller and leaner) And these pants do not have an adjustable waist of any kind. So, I decided to keep these for later and ordered the 4T. Unfortunately, when I received the 4T the fit was even worse. The waist was actually larger when compared to the Youth size XXS and the pants don’t even come to his ankle. So...ultimately We love the material and concept but the sizing/fit is not very consistent.

Great little pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d been looking for some sturdy quick dry pants since the ones I’d been buying my kids quit being made. Grandma bought my older son a pair of these Columbia pants and I was really pleased with them so I ordered these for my almost 4-year-old. He is a slightly taller than average kid and will be four in a month, they are a little bit long still (Perfect) but the waistband is a nice fit so the length problem is fixed by simply folding the waistband and I expect him to get a lot of use out of them. (I bought 4T)) I love that they are quick dry and easy to layer long underwear or fleece under if it’s cold outside, but light weight for hot weather otherwise. We do a lot of backpacking and river trips with our kids. The price point is also much more reasonable and so far they are holding up to sand, mud and sun very well.
