Good, but miss the waist adjuster

My son likes these versatile shorts, and he’s worn them for years, but we miss a great feature they used to have: an internal button and elastic waist cincher. That’s so helpful for kids who are a “beanpole” shape. Now we have to figure out a belt. Also, instead of a cargo pocket there’s a weird side-zip pocket. Doesn’t look convenient.

Excellent hot weather shorts

I ordered these for my very active 7 year old son and they're holding up great. Very lightweight and fast drying (which is important since we live in the southern Arizona desert) and durable. He's worn these on a couple of hikes and they withstand branches, plant spines and rocks without snagging. I plan to order more for him as he grows.
