    Very good pants

    Size Bought36x34

    Weight200 lbs

I've had a pair of these for about a year now. They do exactly what I expected them to do. The zip off pant-legs are quickly removed or zipped on and the pockets are functional and well placed. I use them primarily to commute to work on my bike, then I zip on the pant legs for my workday. Perfect! Not exactly 'stylish' but/and I like them well enough to purchase another couple of pairs in different colors today!

I bought two pairs of these for a trip to South America. They survived the desert and the mountains and I wore them pretty much everywhere else throughout the trip. Wore them on a few warmup hikes before the trip too and imagine I'll be using them for quite a while going forward. Great travel/outdoor pants!

    Lightweight hiking pants

Durable fabric for the price. Quick drying, and functional. Six pockets are plus (four of them either zipper or velcro closure). They are very lightweight; great for warm or hot weather backpacking. The only downside is the stitching; the back pockets are single stitched on the inside of the U, while the rest of the pocket is double stitched. This leads to the stitching wearing away if sliding on your butt while descending on rock.

    Style makeover flops

Columbia and others have taken the classic convertible cargo pants and moved the pockets to the side from the top. This destroys the whole purpose of this pant which is to use cargo flap pockets to give the birder, explorer , photographer or hiker easy access to gear needed for the trip— and still allow him or her to sit down! You can’t sit comfortably with a bird book or lens sticking you in the bottom! Also harder to open and you can’t see from the top or front what’s in there. Function is top priority for outdoor activity clothing like this BW

These pants have always been a hit and my dad seems to add them to every father's day, xmas, and birthday list he gives me. I am sure by now he owns every shade that Columbia makes in this style. Light weight, durable, and great for any season/trip. These can be used on the trail, around town, or off on an adventure abroad. These are my dad's go to pant for travel and around town and I know if he was reviewing these it would get a 10 star rating (if possible). Overall these have always been and will probably always be a hit. He is 6'0 and typically wears a 36x30. The 36x30 fits him like a glove.

    Very satisfied

Fits perfect and true to size. He really likes the light weight materials and how quickly they dry when they get wet. They pack up a very small in his pack.

These are good pants, they work fine. They seem to run just a little small to me, and as a result, I'm hoping that I don't stress tear them out in the field, but we'll see how they break in.

These are the perfect warm weather pants for me. Incredibly comfortable and durable. I use them for everyday around town in summer as well as trips abroad to warm weather places. Having the option to turn them into shorts in a flash is a bonus. They are super light for packing; wash and dry quickly; and look nice too. And, finally Columbia modified these pants to give you 2 rear pockets. Love them!

I've taken these hiking a few times, and they've worked really well so far. They're very lightweight and comfortable, and they adapt well to both cooler and warmer temps. Plus, the many pockets have come in very handy. I'm very happy with them so far.

My go to pants for hiking regardless of weather, thus the zip off option. They've kept me from charring in the summer heat and sun, and they've kept me warm during the frigid morning hikes to peak with wind and frost.

It looks good but 'M' size was too tight

Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
    Fit:Runs small
    Size Bought32w x 34
    Height5` 11"
    Weight180 lbs

Order arrived on time and well packaged. I ordered the black pants and it looks nice and material seems to be good. I am 5'11" and 180lbs and ordered the 32w x 34 size. If fits well around the waist and the length is also good. The issue was around the thighs. It was extremely snug to the point I decided to return it. I have 04 other hiking convertible pants (including another Columbia) and none of them are that sung/tight.

Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    Fit:True to size

My dad loves this pant so much that I am back for more (new color). Well designed and comfortable style with a nice light weight material. Great for summer or winter use and can be used day to day or simply out on an adventure. Overall a great buy and I am sure I will be back for more in the future.

Amazing pants to stay cool at work

    Familiarity:I've used it several times
    Fit:True to size

This pants fit amazing, I can used like my uniform, since color are pretty nice, they can combine with everything I have in my stuff since color is very easy for combinations. Very recommended for all, and obvious, I can go to walk in the forest after job without change the pants since they work in casual and adventure... :-)

I do a lot of urban exploring and running and I need to know if they will hold up to heavy abrasion against concrete and bricks I have a pair of north faces and within a few hours I had a hole in them will these hold up?

how are the leg length on these? and what is the bottom of the legs look like? will it drag over your feet?? will it hold up?

they're long and pretty tapered. I'd wager the 34" inseam is 35" easily. They shouldn't drag on the ground, though. Instead they'll likely bunch up around the cuff of your shoe/boot. And they're he77 to convert. It's a shoes off mandatory effort.
