Off days are an essential part of any ski trip. Without them you'd be passed out at seven every night, your legs would be complete jelly, and you wouldn't get to wonder around snowy trails and sleepy mountain towns. When it's time for you to enjoy some much needed down time, throw on the Columbia Ridgestone Jacket. Its water-resistant fabric sheds light rain and snowfall, keeping you dry and warm when winter weather arrives. Synthetic insulation gives you warmth without the bulk, and stays warm in case wet snow or heavy rain has you soaked. Two hand pockets let you hide your frozen digits from the cold, so you can keep on strolling around in comfort before tomorrow's return to the slopes.
- Wear this jacket everywhere from quiet mountain towns to big cities
- Synthetic insulation keeps you toasty warm even when wet
- Water resistant fabric withstands moderate snowfall and light mixes
- Hand and chest pockets hold all of your everyday valuables

This is quite the handsome jacket! The "peatmoss" color is a lovely shade of sage green. My brother requested a "functional yet refined jacket" for use during the winter months that he could wear with layers. While this jacket looks the part, unfortunately the sizing is way off. My brother is 5'8" at 160lbs and wears a medium, but the medium fit VERY large and boxy. I recommend sizing down regardless of your plans to layer. It is also a bit stiff out of the box and would require just a bit of breaking in, somewhat like the burliness of a Carhartt jacket
Great looking jacket! Runs large
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Jacket looks great and feels solid. Only drawback is that it runs a bit large.
I would compare the fit to somewhere between typical and Carhartt.
