Great Value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this coat for the sudden change in Southern California weather to cold and rainy. It has saved my bacon! So far I have not had to layer under it and it has kept me warm and dry. I got it in stone color size XL. I especially love the length.

SIZE DOWN
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Size down. I’m 5’9”, 200 lbs. and so glad I listened to the reviews & bought a 1X. I would usually buy a 2x since I’m comfort driven & want room for layers underneath. Also the hood gives plenty of coverage. I would have been swimming in my usual 2x. I’ve been wearing my 2 original Columbia jackets for 12 years now & they’re as good as new, just needed something longer for outside w/ the dogs 4-5x per day.

SO WARM!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my gosh... this coat! Amazing. Very roomy, would maybe even size down. I am 6 ft. 195 lbs. and I am normally a true L in regular clothing. I ordered the XL to make sure there was enough room for bulky clothing underneath. With that being said, I could have ordered a large and still been able to layer underneath. Sleeves are roomy and long enough for tall gals like myself. Living up North we get some pretty brutal weather. Was out in the cold in -40 (wind chill) degree weather, this coat was unbelievably warm. No breeze and cold air coming through despite it being too big! You can also cinch the waist if yours is too big. Absolutely obsessed with this coat! A first time and now lifetime customer 100%!

Nice coat size up
This coat is warm and comfortable however it is extremely snug in the middle. Definitely size up if you want a sweatshirt underneath or other bulky clothing. I bought a large and should have bought an xlarge for more room.

I read the reviews still wrong SIZE DOWN!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this my normal size large. I read the reviews and I like things a little baggy BUT this my husband which never ever says anything besides looks great of things actually said my opinion you really need a smaller size… guess what they are sold out of mediums wonder why the large even with extra layers on is impressively big. Need to return sad they are sold out of what I want.

I bought this in the dark stone color thinking it would look off-white like in the pictures. The color is completely different than pictured online. It’s more of a gray beige color, not even close to white. I can’t speak to the jacket quality because I didn’t even try it on.

Warm, but looks like I'm wearing a sleeping bag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need a very warm coat for a trip to Lapland. This one is definitely nice and warm, but I felt like I was wearing a sleeping bag. I am 5'4" tall and it was way too long on me. You can tighten the waist line, but it still looked like a sleeping bag on me. Otherwise it's a nice warm coat. I am returning it and will buy the Suttle Mountain Jacket, which has some definition at the waist and is more appropriate for my curvy body type. It looks like it's long enough to cover my butt and not ride up, but not too long for someone short like me.

Love it-size down
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this jacket! I’m 5’8” around 150lbs. I have a medium in another style Columbia jacket and that fits great. I sized down to a small on this one and am glad I did. Still have more than enough room for a sweatshirt underneath!

Bunches up exposing you to the cold.
I bought this less than a week ago to walk to work and get around the city, so light urban wear. It felt warm, but in day 5 I noticed my arm was getting really cold. The stuffing had started to bunch up... I barely even use my left arm! The next day I found another spot where the warm filling had bunched up, leaving just a thin layer of polyester between me and the windy -5C conditions. So disappointing. Not worth it. I expected better quality from Columbia, honestly.
