One layer for all the cold activities
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- M
- Height:
- 5' 7"
- Weight:
- 165
I bought these for winter running and was initially worried about the comfort of the silver lining against the skin, but once I put them on I didn't even feel it. The fabric is not heavy or thick and the silver is body mapped and I have not worried about overheating or conversely staying warm. Cold wind does not blow right through me in these and they do not slide down or move around while running. Also a fabulous baselayer under my ski pants. Well worth the price.

Comfortable base-layer tights
These base-layer leggings are very comfortable. They were long on me but otherwise fit well.

Not warm and not comfortable
I found this garment to be not very warm and not comfortable. The patterns on the omni heat lining are quite scratchy. The garment fits a bit tightly, too.

DO NOT BUY FOR SKIING! Blisters and cuts on my skin
I bought these because having other omni heat columbia gear I thought they will keep me warm skiing. Well - These leggings were warm, but my first day wearing them was horrific!! After 6 hours I had horrible pain like a chemical burn on my ankles. I took off my ski boots to see where my pants were under my ski boots had cut into my skin and caused blisters and raw skin over both ankles. My skin is terribly torn up on both ankles, requiring gaze and days of healing from dozens of blisters! Horrified I will never be wearing these again, this was like tiny knives against my sensitive skin
