Great Hiking Shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these shoes for a hiking trip to a national park. I could not recommend them enough, they are very comfortable to walk around in and have amazing shoe grip for climbing rocks. The only issues I had with the shoe were the breathability and waterproofing. Walking around in the shoes for a while leads to the shoe getting a little hot so I would recommend using these shoes in colder weather. For the waterproofing, the tongue of the shoe is not waterproof so stepping into deeper water leads to the shoe getting soaked. But if the shoe's tongue is above the water, the shoe is completely waterproof.

Great Boots, just don't breathe particularly well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable boot, light weight. Wore them hiking in Several California National parks. Good traction. Held well on steep rocks as well as sand. Waterproof all the way up. (Turns out if you step in water deeper than the boot your feet will still get wet!) Only knock at all is they don't breathe super well. I expect that from a waterproof boot, but these were a little 'warmer' than usual. I hiked in everything from snow to 75* desert.. the 70's were pushing it for warmth. I wouldn't wanna hike in these if the temp was in the upper 70's or 80's.... Overall a great boot so far though.

Firm, secure traction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable. Waterproof through everything I've thrown at them so far. Great look. The traction has been great walking the dog over ice and snow.

Okay, noisy with persistent creaking good water re
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No information yet on how well they hold up, still new. Very noisy, creak with every step, from both boots. Do seem water proof/resistant, a real plus. Inserts provide no arch support, totally flat and for me boots required supplemental arch support. Laces do hold knots, unlike those supplied with many new shoes/boots. I purchased 13 normal width, 12 too tight, 13 works but a little sloppy, but size choice was best bet and okay, esp with additional insert. Thus rate as adequate.

EXCELLENT ALL PURPOSE WATERPROOF HIKER
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our son-in-law needed an all purpose hiker that is water-proof. We have Columbia boots ourselves, and bought these for him with our recommendation. He is completely satisfied with what we bought him. Comfortable mid high, with great cushioning and style that takes this boot from the trails to the office.
