Fall in love with winter.
The Columbia Women's Loveland Shorty Omni-Heat Boot is a cozier alternative to spending winter's coldest months in a pair of sandals. Columbia stuffed this puffy-esque boot with synthetic insulation and a Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining that reflects whatever warmth your foot makes back your way for a toastier feel. If you're worried that winter's wetness will dampen your toes, have no fear because Columbia laminated the Loveland's upper with the same waterproof, breathable Omni-Tech that encompasses Columbia's ski shells for reliable protection.

Not for me
I could not get my foot into this boot. I do have a high arch but the only way to get this boot on for me is with a shoe horn.

I wanted warm winter boots I could just pull on to run out and get the mail, walk the dog, etc. with. These can do those things and much more! I can hike with them, go to the store, wear them all day. They are warm (my feet are always cold), supportive/comfortable (good arch support and traction), and to boot (pun intended), kind of cute, too. There's a tab-like structure at the back top that lets you easily pull 'em on and off. And the laces let you adjust to varying degrees of looseness or tightness. About to put 'em on now to do some things in the snowy yard. No more ordeal of putting on the "big boots" all the time! (Plus, my BC "connection" helped me get these and shipped them overnight. Bonus!) Note: I only need one pair of medium wool socks with these but if you prefer to wear thicker socks, you may want to size up a half size.
