Quality not what it used to be!
Son wore this jacket for less than 2 weeks and the zipper is defective! It will separate leaving the jacket open and the zipper at top. Columbia customer service says to send it to them?! What good will that do when I will need to buy my son a new jacket for Wisconsin winter?! Horrible company

Medium weight jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12 year old son loved the jacket. I don’t know yet how warm is it, but its well made and not heavy.

Warm but not too bulky
Nice lightweight coat for wearing everyday. My son usually wears sweatshirts only and this was a good compromise for the winter.

Poor zipper
I want to love this coat, it’s warm and my son loves the look of it, but the zipper broke after only being worn 3-4 times. The warranty requires customer pay shipping without even a confirmation that it will be fixed. So ridiculous at this price point.
