There is nothing water or dirt repellent about this coat. My 8 year old daughter had a coat from Costco that lasted for two years, but this baby doesn't age well at all. I have to wash it at least once a WEEK because it is just FILTHY around the cuffs, arms and chin area. I just have no clue why anyone would use this fabric with for kids' clothes, much less call it "sportswear." Their customer service is outstanding though and they were willing to give me store credit even though I was beyond their 30 day mark.

Bought for my 10 year old daughter. We measured her up and medium is what was called for. The medium fit ok under a tee shirt but it was slightly big in the shoulders and arm diameter. It was kinda tight in the waist and a little short...so adding a sweatshirt or midlayer underneath would not work. We tried the large but it was huuuuge in the shoulders and arms, for a little increase in the waist and length. We will be looking at other brands that hopefully fit her body better. Didnt get a chance to test the jacket for warmth so cant comment on the function.

I ordered this coat for my 6-year-old granddaughter for Christmas, and it is very cute but does not run large as indicated in the description. She is a size 6, and it fits with little room to wear layers underneath or for growth. I had planned to return it for a larger size, but can't because of shopping early for Christmas. It is very cute, appears to be very warm for her Michigan winter weather, and she loved the color (Eve). She loved everything about it, and I do recommend the coat. However, I brought it home with me from our Christmas visit, not considering that I had gone past the 30-day return window and will end up shipping it back to her. Both her mother and I are very disappointed that she will likely get little use out of it, because it is so cute and appears to be warm and good quality, as expected from Columbia.

I got this for my neice and she loves it. We got a small and a medium to see which one fit and she wanted to keep them both. The coat was insulated well and very soft. The only thing was that the sleeves on the medium were pretty long but hopefully something she will grow into. 5 stars and would defenitly reccomend

I was looking for a secret santa gift for a girl I don't know but off the reviews and the description this looked great. This jacket was surprisingly thick and nice quality for a little girls jacket! The material felt a lot thicker than even some of the down jackets I own. Definitely a must-have for any cutie-pie out there this Winter!

I purchased this coat for my eight year old daughter. I was on the fence about the size based on reviews and ended up ordering a size small. It fits her perfectly, yet she still has enough room in the jacket to wear layers; the size medium probably would have been too big. The sleeves do run a little long, but not so long it looks funny. I love the tapered waste, it is very flattering. The weather here can get to 30 below, this coat so far has kept her nice and toasty.
