Waist is way too small and tight!!

Familiarity:: I've used it several times
Size Bought:: 3T and 4T
Weight:: 32

The tiny, tight elastic waist on this pant is incredibly unfortunate, because otherwise it's a great, warm, comfortable fleece pant. I ordered both a size 3T and an 4T for my thin toddler boy who just turned 3 y/o, and the 3T cuts his circulation. He was so uncomfortable, and the elastic waist left a bright read mark on his belly. The 4T is barely any better and I end up having to stretch it out to try to make it more comfortable. Will try to cut a bit of the elastic on waist of size 4T. I donated the size 3T.
