Pretty impressive mitten overall. I picked up a couple pairs of these so there would always be a dry pair around. The thumbs are pretty long though relative to the rest of the mitten.

These are perfect little mitts! Reasonably priced, a good size to grow into, and very effective for their intended purpose--keeping youngsters' digits warm.

Great gloves for our toddler. Keeps his little fingers warm, and won't break the bank when he eventually loses them. :)

We have the previous season version of this mitten and have been using them daily for the past month on our 16 month old boy. At first I thought they looked huge, but the extra space makes it easy for kiddos to grip with mittens on, and to get them on/off without squishing little fingers. I'm hoping the size means we will also make it through two winters before they get too small! These mitts are a single layer of nice fleece, excellent coverage for most winter outings. They are nice and soft inside and out, and our toddler maintains most of his dexterity with the mittens on. He can take them off himself, although he has a very hard time doing so if we put on the mittens then his jacket. We have tried several Columbia Infant and Toddler products alongside Patagonia and North Face. Columbia usually comes at a lower price point, and so far seems to be equally good quality. Given the odds of kids losing 1-2 mittens in a season, we opted for the least expensive option and have been really stoked about that choice.
