Caused Bruises
Everything about these shoes are great except for one thing. The tongue of the shoe at the top leans inwards (towards the ankles) instead of outwards. With each step I take my ankles are pressing against the tongue and for short walks that is okay. However, if hiking for a long time, the pressure from the tongue is enough that it formed bruises on both my ankles right where it contacts the shoe. While I know that shoes take time to break in, I believe that this is a problem that will not go away no matter how long I wear these shoes for because this is due to the design and shape of the shoes.

Nice but run small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my son for hiking. He is 9 1/2 and cannot put these on by himself. I probably should have returned them but thought it might get easier after they were broken in. He likes the look but says they are hot to wear. Maybe try a size up?

Look great, fit great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these for my 6 year old for hiking. They look great, are wide enough for her very wide feet without being too long. They seem like they will be durable- we are planning 50 hikes this summer. I LOVE that she can get them on herself with the cinch tie instead of laces.

Good so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to hold up well after one hike. My son said they were comfortable and they didnt give blisters. I liked the laces. But i wish they were just a little shorter. We ended up tying them like regular laces after tightening them. We'll be going to Colorado in a few months so Ill come back and change the rating if needed.

Sturdy & Comfortable

We were looking for comfortable waterproof shoes for him that can be used for rain, snow, hiking, etc. These met all of our requirements perfectly! My son loves them and took them for a spin on a rainy day without a hitch.

Comfortable and no rying shoes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I showed my son these shoes online for hiking and i figured the plain color would deter him away and sure enough he said "i kinda hate them and like them" i got them anyway, we are hiking in the spring and he needs hiking shoes. He loves the support and comfort and that he doesnt have to tie them. So he wears them quite often!

Warm and dry toes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grandson loves them. They do run a little small though so don’t think they will last him long. Great pinch slide laces which is perfect for him. His feet stay warm and dry
