I really wanted to love these shoes!

I love columbia brand and had been eyeing these shoes for about a year. I work overseas in deployed environments and typically like “trail” running shoes instead of the standard combat boot. It’s so difficult to find a more stylish and versatile shoe so when I find something I like, I’m grateful. These shoes are great for every day wear on sidewalks or indoor, but not on the sandy/rocket terrain that I’ve been on the last few weeks. My ankles are achey and sore and when I wear different shoes, I don’t have the problem. I’m sad to say that I will be retiring these shoes.

Read the reviews and really hopefully that these shoes would be as great as they said. I am on my feet for 12 to 15 hours for work and needed a great shoe. These were a bit tight even though I sized up from my normal 6.5 that I wear in Columbia shoes and glad I did or they wouldn't have fit. I adjusted the laces a bit more and they are better but not as grand as the reviews made them sound. But they are great to stop you from kriling your ankles. They are comfy feeling under my feet and will give a few more wears before I give to my daughter. Wished they'd been as great as the reviews said. Really nice shoes but not worth the price.

They run VERY large - one full size large in my opinion and will be going back. At least 3/4 of an inch Before my toe comes close to reaching the tip of the toe box.

No regrets

Have worn about three times and absolutely love them. They felt like slippers on some hard for me hiking.

Found my walking shoes

It’s very hard for me to find a gym shoe that fits my feet(I have no arch)! I thought I’d give Columbia a try since the clothes were a hit for me. I have fat feet and I was able to comfortably adjust the shoe around my fat area. I also noticed how the shoe cradle my heel area and gave me support where my arch should be. I’ve worn these shoes for a number of hours and was pleasantly surprised how my feet or ankles didn’t hurt and how I didn’t get any cramps in my foot area when taking the shoes off(this happens when the shoe is too tight around my footbed area). Happy with my purchase, I’m a true believer of Columbia quality in clothes and NOW shoes.

These shoes look even cooler looking in person! They are true to size, I always wear an 8 in Nike tennis shoes and the 8 fit perfectly with these. Super light weight and comfy!

ready to order more

I have issues with one knee and need a knee replacement but I purchased the Facet 15 and have had such comfort and stability walking in them that I've postponed my surgery! I liked this pair so well that I just ordered the Facet 45!

got wet in the rain

It seems these shoes are not good for rainy Seattle. I spent 15 minutes in the rain and got wet.
