Emerald Lake Parka

The Columbia Emerald Lake Parka is your secret weapon. It's a jacket with everyday style, but underneath it packs the technical materials needed to stand up to the harsh conditions of a day at the ski resort. From its waterproof Omni-Tech membrane that keeps melting snow from giving you the chills to its Thermarator insulation that traps in your body heat. Underarm vents let you dump some of that heat when it starts to become too much, without exposing you to too much wind or moisture. A removable powder skirt works with wrist gaiters (with thumbholes) and an adjustable hood to ensure snow can't sneak in even in a tumble, and speaking of the hood—it comes with a faux fur ruff that can be worn for stylish evenings in the city or removed for days on the slopes.
  • Parka for a weather-resistant refuge on and off the slopes
  • Waterproof Omni-Tech seals out melting snow
  • Thermarator insulation traps in warmth
  • Removable powder skirt prevents floods of snow
  • Underarm zippers let you adjust temperature
  • Adjustable hood has a removable faux fur ruff
  • Thumbholes at the cuffs make putting on gloves easy
  • Item #COL028K

I love this jacket because is so versatile. It's fancy enough to use it on the city but has all the specs to be used while hiking in the snow. It fits on the slim side. So don't think to use it with a thick sweater underneath but more like a thin one.
