Why We Like The Columbia Backslope II Insulated Pant

Warmth without the bulk, Columbia's Backslope II Insulated Pants help us combat those frigid resort days without having to worry about being weighed down. We appreciate that the protective Omni-Tech construction, along with critically sealed seams, prevents snow from soaking us to our baselayers. Toasty insulation teams up with a heat-reflective lining to keep us smiling through brutally cold lift rides, while the comfort stretch fabric and lower leg gusset afford us a natural range of motion to chase pow without restriction.

wonderful insulation!

do not live in an area where ski pants are needed, but headed to a mountain destination for the hike of a lifetime. I was so nervous to order a product I am unfamiliar with online, but I am thrilled with my order! These pants fit SO WELL. they are nice and snug at the back with no gaping. they are adjustable if I lose a little weight between now and my trip (here's hoping). And they slid right on over a pair of training tights and I cant believe how warm they are! Hits all the right spots for me. First pair of non-rented ski pants and I am so impressed. THANK YOU!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with my new pants, I got also the jacket that perfectly matches the pants (the picture is attached) Number one I love the quality of my pants and jacket, they keep me very warm and they're very confortable! The design and colors are very cool as well! I wear size M and they all fit perfectly!

Great pant, great price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Skiing at Mammoth Lakes-temp range 10-28, plus wind. Wore one layer underneath and was comfy. I’m 5’4”, 150lbs and the Medium was perfect, love the Velcro waist, and the length; a bit long, but I love the length as my boots are covered completely and the fit is a bit more slim than my old pants. Highly recommended!!

Amazing.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought these for walking in 0 degree temps with the dog, aka for >1 hr, and these are AMAZING. So awesome and warm and I always have issues being cold. I have expensive arcteryx pants I wear for skiing but I think I might use these instead

Button broke when I unsnapped it to try these pants on

I just got these in the mail and unbuttoned to try on and the top button broke… pants fit and I like them other than they’re a little long and bummed I have to send them back for new ones

Probably great pants if they fit you

These seem like quality pants! Unfortunately, I couldn't get them up past my thighs despite a good few minutes of pulling and kicking. Oh well. It seems like other purchasers found these more true-to-size, but I'm going to have to return these.

Comfy and Warm

I bought these pants for skiing. What I didn’t realize was there is no reinforcement layer on the inside of the leg near the ankles. These pants ripped the first time I wore them. Great pants very comfortable but I would not recommend them for downhill skiing!
