Not for Curvy or Athletic People
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts have so much potential. I really, really wanted them to work. I recently lost weight but still have wide hips and strong thighs. I ordered a medium — which should fit according to my pants size 8. These shorts gapped like CRAZY around my waist, and the PFG belt loop on the back holds stiff, so it made the gapping even worse. When I squatted down, as if to grab something, the gapping went down with me and revealed the top band of my underwear. A little gapping I can make do, I’m used to that, but then these shorts were also horrifically tight around my legs. Can’t move up to a Large to fit my legs, they’d slip off. Can’t move down to a small to fit my waist, I’d lose circulation or pop a seem, LOL. If you’re curvy, these aren’t for you. That being said, the material quality is great. Men have so many hybrid shorts options, and it’s hard to find cute women’s hybrids: these are a great option (if you have no hips and thin legs). I ordered 5 different colors, and I love that there is such a fun variety. They were all beautiful and matched according to the website images. If you’re not curvy, I would order these shorts in a heartbeat!

Perfect Shorts For Hiking, Fishing, Water Sports!
Perfect shorts for hiking, fishing, and water sports. I purchased size M my usual size. They are a perfect fit. I am 5’2” 134 lbs. I typically wear size 8 Gap jeans. They fit as pictured. I ordered 3 pair. All the colors are as pictured. These shorts are well made, elastic waist with drawstring. Two large mesh pockets on either side and a large zippered back pocket. The fabric is 100% nylon structured not stretchy. They are light, airy, and dry quickly. These are perfect for any indoor or outdoor activities. They pair well with Columbia rash guards. I’m so happy I found these.

Roomy
I am between a large and XL in most shorts, but these large are perfect fit for me. Length is about 1/2 inch longer than the Sandy River shorts that claim same length. Pockets are deeper than most women's shorts, so my phone does not fall out! Fabric is quick-dry and that is helpful for sweaty activities.

Good material
A little tight on the thighs, butt and crotch area.. Followed the size guide but I must be the exception. Other than that, they did stretch out a little after an extra hot wash. The material is quick drying but does make a funny sound when you walk lol
