Small through the hips

I typically wear a medium in coats but had to order a large for this jacket. I really like that it hangs low enough to sit on in the back, but it was also pretty tight around my hips in the medium. I wear a size 8 pants for reference, but the large fits like a dream! Light weight and roomy enough for layering with the size up.

This is not the first columbia jacket I own, I normally wear a size M but this one runs HUGE and the arms are like a mile long too! The quality is great so I return the size M and ordered a size S and I cannot wait to receive the right size.

I got this as a Christmas present for my sister, who is a college student in rainy Oregon. She loves that the jacket keeps her dry and looks cool at the same time. My sister has really long arms for being 5'6" and the sleeves are long enough for her, as well.
