Better than a pan full of gold.

Ease the Coal Yukon Brim Beanie onto your head, feel the warmth, and do a jig in the parking lot. Thick, knitted wool surrounds your dome with warmth while you dance to invisible music like a crazy person. Your identity should be safe when the security camera footage hits the internet thanks to the Yukon’s low-profile brim.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I LOVE THIS HAT. This is the second hat and I highly recommend it. It is so warm and looks great. It also comes with a pick. LOVE IT!!

    good buy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've not been disappointed by the quality. It's kept my head warm in around-town situations during a New England fall/early winter. I like the styling. I've neither gotten it wet nor have I worn it in true winter-y conditions, which is the reason for 4 stars.

    OLIVIOSULY the best

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I like green so forgive the awful pun in the title.

This thing is warm. The fleece lining is comfy and not at all scratchy. I love to use this on the river fishing in the colder months. It's also my go to around town hat because it's not only functional, but fashionable. This beanie draws lots of compliments. It wears well with almost any outfit.

Don't take my word for it, though! Order this up and see for yourself :)

    Awesome and Stylish

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I have worn this hat several times. It is very warm and the wool pattern gives it that New England. It has a fleece head liner that is very soft. Brim is noticeable but not overwhelming. If I lost it I would buy another. Only other hat I would do this for is my Stormy Kromer.

    Stylish but stinky

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I liked the rigid brim. It was just what I wanted. It was also very stylish. However, the thing that is almost unbearable is the smell of the hat. It had a very chemical smell like maybe dye solvent or something. You could smell it while you wore the hat. I tried to clean it hoping that would help. I followed the instructions on the tag. It took away about half of the smell, but no longer looks new once I hand washed it and let it dry. It looks like worn, tattered wool. Considering what I paid for the hat, I'm a bit disappointed with it.

    My favorite beanie

    • Fit: True to size

Got this as a gift, and I absolutely love it. Warm, comfortable, and looks good. Not an on the mountain, or under helmet beanie, but perfect around the town.

    Not the look I wanted

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

Looked cool in the pictures, but horrible on my head. I'm male, 7 1/4 size head. Size was fine, just didn't look like I thought it would after seeing the pictures.

good looking , comfortable and useful

This is a very warm and non-itchy wool hat. I have a big head and it fits me just fine. Really like the brim to keep out sun while touring. The fleece lining is great!

Warm, natural fibres - looks good too!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I fully admit to having a beanie fetish, but this is one of my favourites. I am a big fan of natural fibres and the yukon is all natural wool. Don't worry though, the inside has a light fleece lining so it won't irritate your precious noggin'.

I use mine for backcountry touring and I like the brim as it keeps snow off my sunnies if it's snowing or blocks the sun a little if it's sunny.

It's quite warm as the wool is the thick woven style.

And when you pop into the local bar for an apres ski tour bevvie, you'll look quite stylish too!

This hat is a good idea.

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

A wool beanie, lined with fleece, plus a stylish brim. I bought this as a gift and she loves it. This hat is great for cold weather, wet weather, miserable weather, or any combination of the above.

nice if you have a small head

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this for my boyfriend who has had a hard time finding a beanie that is big enough for his head (he does not have an abnormally large head). It looks great, but is just too small. It makes his head hurt and so he doesn't wear it for very long.

How far does the brim stick out?

      Hey there Kat!

Coal doesn't provide the dimensions of this hat but it looks like it is about 1.5 inches! It seems like a pretty average brim for a brimmed beanie : )
