When half a rack is just enough.

With hundreds of miles of single track right outside the front door, Sun Valley residents tend to go from the trails, to work, and then right back again. Club Ride Apparel's Half Rack Knickers might look a little odd in the office, but their tough, breathable, and quick-drying PowerWeave fabric won't be out of place if you try to wear them all day.

At the end of the day, the Half Rack is made for the trail, and has features like articulated knees, a side-buckle waist adjustment system, and RideLight reflective accents to prove it. The zippered leg pocket has a media port for easy cord routing and maximum tuneage, and the 17in inseam is long enough to offer extra coverage without being full-on pants, because who rides XC in pants?

    Great for non-Lycra days.

As I'm getting older, it's less and less about flash and bling, and more about simple classic looks, especially when a big chunk of the ride is spent hanging out at the cafe pre- and post-ride (if not mid-ride as well). So in spring and fall, a nice pair of commuter knickers, a base layer and wool jersey (like the DeMarchi Ireland 1982, item #DMA006O) are perfect.

These knicks are unlined, so for longer rides you would want some sort of chamois'ed liner short under them, but for short rides you can get away with your regular undies. Zip fly and zippered pockets. Reflective detailing on the belt loops. Awesome for commuting, and don't look crazy off the bike (at least, no more crazy than any other man-pris). Comfy wear all around.

Only markdown is that I wish they had come with a removeable liner instead of no liner, but in the grand scheme of things, that's not a deallbreaker.
