    Owl 20in Single Speed Bike

Your little one has broken free of their training wheels, and after dozens of encounters with the ground and the garage floor, their old bike has seen better days. Not to mention that they've outgrown it. You'll be able to watch their confidence and coordination skills grow each day as they upgrade to Cleary Bikes' Owl 20in Single Speed Kids' Bike. Careful construction and reliable components combine to create a bike that is ready to accompany little rippers and future stars from the driveway to the bike path and all of the locales they'll pass in between.

The Owl frame is built to adapt to multi-terrain adventures, and its geometry was fine-tuned to center young riders' weight between the bar and the saddle to create a bike that would be responsive and stable in a wide range of conditions. The reinforced steel fork also helps to establish solid, dependable steering, even when the bike veers into enticing terrain off-road. Cleary takes away the threat of tangling cables by integrating the Owl's front and rear brake cables internally, which is not something we see often on youth frames. It's a feature we're sure riders still getting the hang of cycling coordination will appreciate.

Compared to Cleary Bikes' other offerings, the Owl features larger grips, handlebars, and brake levers than the Starfish and Gecko balance bike models. It also best fits young adventurers with an inseam measurement between 20 and 27in, and unlike Cleary's Meerkat model, gives young riders the chance to master their bike handling skills before introducing the concept of shifting and gear ratios.

    Your Kid Will Love You

    I've used it several times

Seriously. Doing a ton of research to see what would be the best deal for the most worth of a bike. This one was at the top of the list and I can agree to it once we get it all put together. It's nothing crazy heavy but it's plenty durable, especially for a little kid learning to ride a bike. I had picked this up for my nephew and he had fell in love with it. Great green color, perfect length and height for him to grow into and continue to use for a few years. I love how easy it was to put together and if needed disassemble as well. You're going to want to get this for your kid.

    Impressive kids bike

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is the perfect bike for my daughter to make the step up from her 16" wheeled coaster-brake bike. With the saddle set low, she mounts, dismounts, and maneuvers the bike very easily. The brakes are snappy, and enable her to moderate her speed easily or come to a safe, controlled stop if needed. I was pleasantly surprised by the gearing, which seems well suited for a kid in the 6-9 year age range (some kids' bike are overgeared and I always wonder why manufacturers don't pay more attention to this important spec)...Lastly, I was very impressed by this bike's quality as I unboxed it. The frame looks well built, with elegant internal cable routing, and the components are much nicer than I'd expect on a kids' bike.

I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this for my Niece, we wanted to get her a bike that would last forever. This bike was it. The quality of the parts used are incredible. The bike is strong and reliable better than some adults you pay 500.00 and up for.
