    The original headset.

The Chris King 2Nut headset keeps your love affair with threaded forks and quill stems rolling smoothly. This was the only headset Chris King sold for the first 14 years the company existed and is well-known for its adjustability and durability. Stainless-steel cartridge bearings turn with machined precision inside aluminum cups, and the headset is ideal if you want to add a cable hanger or spacers to your headset.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Last year I swapped out a threadless fork for a threaded fork on my old commuter. I went cheap with the headset and never could get it set up properly. I gave up and ordered the best. No hassle set up and super smooth.

This is my first King headset, purchased nearly twenty years ago. It's been swapped between several frames over the years and is still as smooth as the day it was first installed.

I commute to work alot in all sorts of weather and just wanted a headset that could handle the abuse of rain and snow. Got tired of re-packing my loose ball bearings with new grease every now and then. I wanted a headset that will outlast me and the steel frame it's mounted on. Chris Kings name sells itself and with such good looking and quality parts it's no wonder why.
