ZX/2 Classic Sandal

Comfortably cradling wider-than-average feet, the Chaco Women's ZX/2 Classic Sandal is a supportive companion for the adventurous hiker, seasoned paddler, and casual wearer. This sandal is an excellent choice if you've come to love Chaco Sandals, but desire a bit more room to alleviate cramped feet and toes. The double-strapped webbing provides a custom fit with its pull-through adjustment and secure toe loop. Keeping the straps firmly in place, the ladder lock buckle eliminates excess movement during active use.

Realizing that slippage is a major issue in water, the ZX/2 features a textured polyurethane footbed for extra grip. The antimicrobial footbed treatment keeps funky microbes from taking up residence on your beloved sandals, especially after extended treks in humid weather. Plus, the LUVSEAT midsole cushions your every step with its ergonomic, women-specific design. And if that's not enough tech for your outdoor lifestyle, the ChacoGrip rubber sole brings sure-footed stability when you're wading across slippery streams and hiking treacherous terrain.

Great shoe

I love the double straps on this shoe. Super comfortable and they fit true to size. I love how you can adjust the straps for your own tightness. Will definitely be buying more in other colors.

Love this double strap style

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Love this double strap style. I have never had a problem with the straps getting uneven and love how easy they are to adjust to fit my foot perfectly. I’ve tried Tevas and the regular chacos with a thick strap bit feel like this strap option looks nicer on my foot. This is my second pair of chacos, they literally last forever! I am not usually a wide width but like that option in this brand.

I said never...

would I buy Chaco's ever, but am I so glad I did for my backpacking trip to Havasupai this past March. These shoes were a great transition from water to hiking. Since that trip I've used the shoe during river trips, as a camp shoe as well as casually. I loved the ability to make adjustments with the straps, especially around the big toe, which really customized the fit for ultimate comfort. My only complaint is I now want all the colors...

A bit too much sole

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I really wanted to get a pair hiking sandals, and tried this one out. I think the sole is a bit too much for me, large and a little clunky. I wanted something with a lighter sole, and I can't wear regular width chacos because of the place the straps fall.

Cheeky Chacos

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Chacos have changed all of my outdoor experiences for the better. Kayaking in a velcro sandal doesn’t work. My ankles never get blisters from awkward straps and plastic. The arch support is wonderful, the grip on the sole is wonderful, the straps support your feet but also allow lots of movement. I love my chacos. I will eventually buy another pair when mine wear down. The only issue i ever face is the one with my toe strap. Sometimes sand gets in my toe strap while I’m hiking or rafting and it can leave a blister, but that’s the only issue I’ve ever had.

Love my Chacos! I'm a pretty flat-footed individual, so I was worried but they fit lovely and are extremely comfortable. So I managed to snag another pair of Chacos-- without any toe strap. I use these for daily wear and also hiking/backpacking. I hated the toe-strap backpacking but I prefer to actually hike with the toestrap. Hanging around camp or getting out of my boots after a long day? Definitely can't bear to wear a toestrap. But as far as actual hiking goes, these are definitely the way to go.

I never thought I'd find myself buying Chacos but they were perfect for my road trip along the coast. Super comfortable, durable. I used them for a few short hikes and no blisters. Love them!

I have a hard time finding shoes I can wear all day without having sore feet or having them rubbed raw in one or more spots. I put these on, after watching a couple YouTube videos on how to adjust them, and immediately fell in love. They give my feet support and are comfortable. The fact that you can adjust the straps is the best feature in my opinion, because no two feet are the same. I do think they run a little big.. I ordered a 9 and they are roomy. Its not a big deal though. I used these as a camping/hiking shoe for when I am not on the trail. Just gotta let the dogs breath ya know?? I can now wear a flannel and Chacos and not feel like such an outcast.

I wear a women's 5 wide!!! So hard to get shoes so I usually go barefoot but you kinda need to wear shoes when you're a river guide and these fit the bill. The toe strap does cinch down over time but it is not a deal breaker. These are worth the $$ I am looking to get these babies re strapped after a few seasons of hard wear and tear and guess what it's only going to run me $35?? Awesome right. Only con they seem a bit largish and my pinky toe kinda gets hidden underneath the strap. I might remediate this by getting the heel strap shortened. Otherwise great

I cannot wait to take these sandals everywhere I go. They are easy to put on, give excellent support, are made very well, and will not fall off in the water. They are a great addition to my shoe collection and will be my go to shoe for many years to come.
