Why We Like The Z/Cloud Sandal
The rugged durability and adventure-worthy performance we expect from Chaco are now available with an added dose of comfort in the Men's Z/Cloud Sandal. It has the same tough, fully adjustable webbing straps and burly ChacoGrip outsole as our old favorites, but with the benefit of a cushier footbed that offers a softer feel and enhanced comfort without sacrificing performance. The footbed is also anti-odor to resist odor when we're wearing this sandal every day (which we surely will).

Ok sandals that I don’t love
Little nitpicks add up to me not loving these. I’ve been a long-time Chaco wearer, but I’m not as satisfied as I should be for the price and Chaco’s reputation. First, the Chaco brand sole is not as good as the older Vibram soles. It wears out quickly, and seems like you’re skimping on quality. The cloud foodbed wears much faster than the regular footbed, but will still outlast the sole anyway. In the past, usually the sole came unglued at the front anyway. For me, the continuous strap loosens up on me, especially in water, but then is difficult to tighten. For my feet, I’m realizing that the arch is too high and rolls my feet outward, but that’s just personal fit. These things are notoriously heavy, like the weight of boots. Having small feet for men’s feet the size hick footbed and wide straps aren’t very proportionate—I’ve considered that the women’s model may be better for me., .

Cushy Comfort and Style
I have not been a fan of any of the Chaco Sandals up until the new cloud base series. I love these! They are super comfortable for hiking, running or even poolside!

Built like a tank
And comfy as well. Can take a day or two to fully break in as the straps loosen up.

Great sandal. My second pair.
Great shoe, my second pair. Super comfy footbed and easy to use. I did have a problem with first pair delaminating (layers in footbed), but was able to repair well enough to continue to use them. The delaminating happened after many years of occasional use, so I can’t really complain. My biggest frustration has been the lack of size/color options for men. Seems like they used to have a lot better inventory, so when these were available and on sale, I snapped them up.

Way more than sandals
Finally replaced my last pair after 10 years of regular use, though I probably could've squeezed another decade out of them. Amazing sandals! The footbed is comfortable and ergonomic, the tread and sole feel like those of a sturdy hiking boot, and the straps conform perfectly to my feet. I've done so many hikes in Chacos, if it wasn't for snow I'd probably wear them year-round.

Always wonderful.
Been buying Chaco's for years. One of the only shoes that fit my feet and don't cause pain. My only complaint is that after I secure the shoes, the leftover strap is very long.

Wow! Finally a sandal with arch support.
This is my first Chacos. I decided to try them when I read about the arch support and the strap which is threaded through the sole and simply glued on. The strap system allows me to really snug it up so they stay tight on the foot and the arch support helps my feet feel comfortable for hours, this has never before happened with any sandal I’ve owned. I would definitely buy again.

Close to perfect!
Comfortable, easy to adjust, and (so far) durable with good traction on variable terrain.

Regret purchase. Hate these sandals.
Horrible fit. Adjusting straps is complicated and cumbersome. Without a clip, they are very difficult to put on and take off. Hate these sandals. Very much regret my purchase. Now Chaco won't even let me return them.
