    Around-the-world comfort.

A Chaco classic that's been outfitted with an ultra-soft footbed for increased comfort, the Z/Cloud 2 Men's Sandal is ready to explore the globe whether you're walking on jungle paths, sandy beaches, or village roads. It sports the same polyester webbing, toe loop, and ChacoGrip rubber sole as other Chaco models, but it comes with a LUVSEAT PU midsole and ridiculously cushy footbed so long days exploring distant cities don't take a toll on your feet. Chaco also decked the Z/Cloud out with an antimicrobial treatment, so it stays fresh even in the steamiest environments and longest trips.

My dad is very picky and he only likes Chaco sandals, he has warn his current pair out. But they had a good run of many years. I’m waiting to see how he like the added cushion these provide. Also did you know when you wea4 out the treads you can send them in to Chaco and they will re sole them. Pretty cool. My dads a to far gone to re sole them and of course the puppy found them to be a nice chew toy.

    Perfect Hiking Sandals

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

If you're looking for a pair of sandals for water, hiking, backpacking, or just lounging around camp you can't go wrong with the chaco z cloud 2. I was looking for more of a backpacking/hiking sandal so opted for the z cloud so it would be lighter if I need to strap them to my pack.

These Chacos are pretty awesome and I like them a million times better than my Tevas. With that being said, be careful of wading in and out of streams when you are in the desert walking. Sand has the ability to work its way underneath the straps and shred your toes. Both my girlfriend and I's feet got shredded but they definitely hike extremely in the majority of the places you can go. The toe straps are clutch for hiking downhill and ensure that you have support where you need it on the decent.

I used to hate Chacos before i had to get a pair for a job that include waiting into islands in key west. I now were them whenever I'm sitting around a campfire, mowing the lawn, doing the dishes, trying impress the ladies, washing my clothes , eating lunch, making lunch, drinking beer, cleaning my room, walking my cat, fishing, gardening, driving, porch sitting, getting cliffed in, walking up washes, setting up my tent, playing cards, and getting yelled at by my boss. So i guess you could say its a life style now.
PS get the ones with they toe strap they keep the blisters away.

    Even comfier than the original!

I had a pair of the Chaco Z/2 Classics for about 8 years before they finally kicked the bucket; the sole came unglued last summer while hiking through the desert on a particularly hot day. Even though I ended up sending those back to Chaco to get resoled (they did an awesome job, by the way), I decided it was time to try something new. I absolutely love the footbed on the Z/Cloud; it is so much more cushy than the original and even helps a little bit with shock absorption. I used to only use my Chacos when I was on the river, but these are so comfortable that I found myself wearing them a lot this past summer.

One thing to be aware of is these seem to have a slightly narrower/snugger fit than the Chaco Classic, specifically in the heel. It's not a huge difference, but if you have a wider foot the Classic may be a better fit for you.

I normally wear a size 9 street shoe, but I size down to an 8 in my Chacos because I don't like having a lot of extra rubber in front of my toes to trip on.

    Love Love Love

Will probably never buy a new pair of sandals, if I do need to it will be these again.

Comfortable and tough. I have hiked hundred of miles in these since I bought them. Again....love love love.

I love my chacos! They're very comfortable, dry quickly, and you can wear them anywhere! (except a funeral) I held off on buying some for too long!

    Great Sandals

Toe strap helps keep them on while floating a river on the old air mattress, and the foot bed is super comfortable while hiking up to the Alpine lake. While bumming around the campfire you can stomp the toe strap down and wear sandals with them, making these guys my go-to sandal no matter what I'm up too.

I am a new user of chaco's sandals. I wanted a sandal that would stay on my foot, be comfortable, and allow me to get some color on my feet. I didn't need the added control of the toe loop so I went with the classic style. If you are using these sandals for more serious hikes, or walking up steams, and really getting after it I believe the toe loop would be an Ideal. Plus if you really want to wear your chaco's with a pair of your favorite socks you can just fold down the toe loop for that added comfort.

These are the only shoes my fiance wears besides his work boots, biking shoes and climbing shoes. They are much lighter and more comfortable than the classics without sacrificing any support. Overall, we're so SO happy with the purchase!

The Chaco sandals are by far my favorite pair of sandals. I am able to hike regularly in my Chocos. The soles are very comfortable and the toe strap provides awesome added support when hiking. The toe strap also does great at helping keep pebbles and twigs out of the sandals while hiking or walking. If you're looking for a pair of sandals to hike in, raft in, or be very active in, I suggest a pair of Chocos. I got a size 10 and they fit great.

    Comfort Comfort Comfort!

    Cloud comfort, INDEED!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I've been a loyal CHACO fan with 2 previous pairs of sandals and a pair of PedSheds for the winter months. The new Cloud 2 footbed is amazingly comfortable right out of the box. Even the web strapping feels softer, less stiff. Blue is not as bright a blue as in photo, more Navy. But I LOVE them!

    Better than ever!!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The last pair of Chacos I bought was 12 years ago and boy have they come a long way! The Z/Cloud 2 is much lighter and noticeably more comfortable(the "Ultra-soft PU footbed" is for real). Basically Chaco fixed all the things you didnt know needed fixing. If you are in the market, I would definitely recommend picking them up.
