Good Ol' Chacos
Happy with the chacos, such good support. I have very narrow feet so usually go for a chaco with a tow strap, but with these it is actually much easier to adjust the fit. Only downside is while I love the pattern, not surprisingly, after a couple wears the white color is starting to look dirty; I may soon wish I had picked a pattern I liked less but showed dirt less.

Love the footbed, hate the straps
I was hoping this style would eliminate the strangled big toe experience unique to the z2s. Unfortunately, the whole front strap on this version tightens in a similar way. I love the Chacos footbed but I need the straps to stay in place once I've adjusted them for my foot. Additionally, this pair arrived with a stain (!?) on the strap.

SIMPLY THE BEST
The Z sandals are simply the BEST. My go-to sandal in the summer by far. I honestly prefer these to actual hiking shoes in the summer, they are comfy, supportive, durable, etc. They’ve handled hikes out west through rivers, mountains, and all the terrain. And they even look good with casual outfits out and about. There must be a reason why I own three pairs.

Saved my Pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago
I've had the classic black Chaco sandals for about 5 years now, and absolutely love them! I recently walked about 300 miles on the Camino de Santiago in Portugal and Spain and made the mistake of thin socks on a very hot day, resulting in severely blistered toes. Luckily, I had my Chacos with me and wore them for most of the rest of the 300 miles (with socks) to give my toes some relief. They were perfect. I had a lot of folks from all over the world remark on my footwear, surprised to see sandals on this pilgrimage. I told them all that Chacos are the best and I couldn't have made it without them. Great support on cobblestones, up and down hills, quick dry after wet condition. PERFECT!!!!!
