From the office straight to the mountain

Great all-around mountain town wear. They look great dressed up with a nice pair of jeans but they're also more than capable of a casual day exploring in the mountains or a quick after-work hike. After a week or so of wearing them they are insanely comfortable - legitimately the most comfortable pair of casual boots I've ever owned. They are mostly unlined, so i find them most comfortable with a thick pair of boot-weight wool socks.
There are non-insulated and don't have a waterproof membrane so they breathe well and won't overheat your feet if you wear them all day. Even though they don't have a waterproof membrane, they are treated with leather and canvas waterproofing, and they have kept my feet dry. I wouldn't wear them hiking in a monsoon - but they're fine for around town on a rainy day.
I've owned and loved many pairs of Chaco sandals, but this is my first pair of closed-toe footwear from them. Happy to say that the quality, comfort, and attention to detail definitely live up to expectations for the brand. Because they're so comfy and multi-functional, If I were traveling and could only bring one pair of shoes, these would be it.

These boots are very comfortable! They do have a high arch in the sole and the first couple times you wear them they may feel a little different but after a couple times wearing these boots out they have molded nicely. They are a wider boot. I love the leather and canvas combo. Makes for a lighter boot and it is still water resistant. Perfect for a night out or a casual day on the mountain.

These shoes are super comfortable, stylish, and functional. The mix of the canvas and leather upper look great and are also water resistant. It takes a few wear to get them broke in, but the ankle area is extremely comfortable. The toe box/area is a wide and allows your toes to move and splay out. The laces and hook eyelets are nice, burly and supportive. These do not have any insulation so you can wear them with thinner socks or thick socks depending on the weather. Over-all these are a great pair of shoes and have quickly become a favorite pair.
