- Q & A
Zero break-in and they're cute?!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I was reluctant to try a pair of leather boots that cover my ankles because I've had bad experiences in the past with boots rubbing them - not fun if you walk a lot. I was elated to find that these boots were supremely comfortable right out of the box! The leather is very soft and darker patina on the toe box adds a bit of extra style to them. The footbed is excellent, it's comfortable and supportive. The leather on the sides of the shoe is soft enought to easily accommodate a wider foot. I have a bit of a narrow foot and the boots lace up nice and tight to provide a stable fit when walking up and down hills. The laces and the ankle strap are tough and they're also cute. I like to wear these boots with cuffed pants to show off the heathered ankle strap. The only negative thing I have to say about this boot is that it runs a tad bit big and it doesn't handle slippery surfaces well. I'm a size 6 and the 6 is almost a half size too big, perfect for wearing with thick socks.
