Very comfortable casual and walking shoes!

These shoes are VERY comfortable for both walking and lounging. They are somewhat difficult to put on with socks on. The texture and material of the sole/insole tend to pull the socks tight to the toes while inserting the foot, and it takes some adjusting to regain comfort. If not for this I would heartily give 5 stars. I love these shoes.

Great look, but difficult to put on.

I have the Paonia clogs that I wear all the time, so naturally I thought these would be great for colder weather and snow. As for positives, they are constructed well and have the awesome Luvseat footbed. They also look nice with jeans (a great everyday casual style). As for negatives, they seem to run slightly small and quite tight across the top of the foot. I ordered my regular Chaco size. Right out of the box, to easily get the shoe on comfortably with socks was very difficult. Nearly impossible. It needs a zipper or some other way to open up the shoe to allow your foot to easily slip into it. Since there isn’t one, you have to jam your foot into the shoe which causes your sock to bind up on your toes. I’ve slowing been stretching the part of the shoe across the top of my foot and they are now easier to get on and are becoming more comfortable as they break in. I think the narrow opening and difficulty getting the shoe on might be a deal breaker for many people. Hope this helps.

Comfy and secure

Love this shoe! It reminds me of the old Pedshed. A little warm so I'll be switching out when the weather gets over 75F but here in Seattle, this shoe will work 8 months out of the year just fine!

Great pick

Super comfy, easy on and off, and not too much heel/ankle dig after they’re broken in. Def wear with socks tho. The suede has started to shed a decent amount, but it’s as easy as running your finger along the inside of your shoe or grabbing the little fluff-bits on the outside to deal with them.

Nice but sweaty

Great fit. Nice materials and style. My complaint is that they made my feet sweat a lot. I've got sweaty feet anyways, but my feet sweat more in these than in full leather boots. Is there a water proof liner in there or something?

Shoe horn please!

These should definitely come with a shoe horn!! Once they're on they are comfy enough. As always good arch support, just not much cushion.

At last..

Living with a variety of foot issues for most of my life, Chaco sandals have very seriously permitted me to function completely normally, EXCEPT for winter — until now. Thanks to a glitch, I wound up double ordering Paonias and glad I did. They do everything the sandals always have in the way of support, are good looking, as warm as any shoe and incredibly waterproof. An old fashioned shoe horn helps to get them on, but that’s fine. I hope you keep making them without any design changes for the next half century or so. Great…

Love the Rambler the Paonia, not so much

I bought 2 pairs of the fabric Rambler Puffs and was very pleased with the comfort and stile. 5 star purchases. I bought the leather Paonia thinking that they would be equally comfortable, look great with jeans, and be better in the wet winter weather. They would have been all those things except that the right boot gaped into an oval opening over the top of my foot. It was as if the leather was cut for a smaller size shoe and attached to a larger sole. The 2 stars are for the style which is great; the negative 3 stars for the manufacturing error.
