I have worn Chacos for years now and love them. I've tried the double strap with toe loop, traditional width single strap without toe loop, and now these. This pair is by far the most comfortable I have tried, I was genuinely blown away when I first put them on! The Cloud sole is much more cushioned and the wide straps are very soft in comparison to the traditional sole and strap width. They felt great right out of the box, and I like the look and secure feeling of the wider strap as well. I have not yet taken them hiking or in water but intend to do so very soon!

I recommend the cloud sole to anyone and everyone. It is so comfy and if feels a lot lighter and less clunky than my other Chacos. I am not sure if this is because of the cloud sole, or the thick strap, or the new Chaco soles, but these Chacos seem a little smaller than my other ones. If I were you, I would say size up rather than down, especially if you are comparing your feet to other normal Z/1 Chacos. Overall though, I’d say the sizes are pretty typical.

This is my first pair of Chacos! I wear Merrills or Birks but the Chacos have a lot of pizzazz and are as comfortable as any sandal ever! I love the colors and cute strappy look and the cushion sole is amazing! No break in needed. I put them on, wore them all day on an outing and never thought about my feet once!! Love them!

All Time Favorite Chacos

I have owned *a lot* of Chacos over the years, and this is hands-down, my favorite style. The thick straps are really soft and comfortable (no need to break them in . - hooray!), and also just make my feet feel secure. Also - they do not feel clunky, which is icing on the cake. I get complements on them often. Will definitely pick up another color in this style. Highly recommend!

I replaced my 6 year old chacos with these new mega z clouds when they first came out. I was excited about the thick strap because I remembered my original chacos taking so long to break in. They did not disappoint! These were comfortable straight out of the box, no need to break them in or fiddle with the straps! They feel just as secure as the chacos with a toe strap when hiking. I liked them so much I ordered my mom a pair! She has always hated the feeling of having a strap between her toes. These shoes converted her from a lifetime of Tevas to being a Chaco lover!

Main selling point to any Chacos for my wife and I is the arch support. A lot of sandals on the market are flat and hurt the feet, but not Chacos. Chaco spent time in developing a great, contoured sole to help support a variety of individuals and who doesn't want a pair of sandals they can stand in all day, hike a few miles, paddle, etc.? Love the design and comfort you get in anything with the Chaco name on it.
