Love them!!

LOVE these boots! So comfortable, easily adjustable, and super cute too. I wore them in the snow all last winter, and they’re still in great shape.

I don't like these.

I don't love these. The outer fabric rips easily and is tearing away from the seams. The toe box is a little too narrow for thick socks and the loop around the top makes getting them on and off a nightmare. The only pair of chaos I've ever actively disliked.

Lightweight

These are great lightweight and waterproof boots for hiking through the woods with my dog. The only hiccup I had was both back loops for the getting the boots on broke at the same time, 3 months later :(

Not as expected :(

These were not waterproof and my feet got really cold. I'm in the PNW, so not extreme weather (except for the rain!). I was pretty disappointed.

Warm and Comfortable

These boots are so lightweight! Heavy winter boots always cause pain in my troublesome hips, but these are so light that I can walk for miles in them without any soreness! Despite how light they are, they’re still very warm. They kept my feet (which get cold easily) warm throughout the bitter winter in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. I usually wear a size 7 in Chacos, but I ordered a size 8 in these so that I could wear thick socks with them.

Love em’ but they don’t last

I love these boots, I have two pairs. They aren’t as cushioned as some winter boots, more like a light weight tennis shoe. They are waterproof but with limits. Definitely not a boot for rain or wet snow/slush. They do fine in a more dry powdery snow. I have narrow feet so the style works well for me, I can see how reviewers with a wider foot might not agree. My only complaint and it’s a rather big one, is that the sole wears out in a few months. I’ve had hiking boots and winter boots last YEARS. These are a one season boot. I’ve worn them from late October to early May and with daily dog walks the sole is completely worn down on the heel, much more so than a running shoe or tennis shoe would be with the same amount of wear. It’s hard to justify buying a new pair of winter boots every year, it feels really wasteful. If Chaco could please do some work to redesign the sole to last more than a few months, I’d gladly buy another pair.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I bought a pair of these boots in black and I'm so happy that I did. They are not only soft and warm, but they are super light. Some other boots are super heavy when you wear them but NOT THESE :) I also really appreciate that they are true to size. I was worried about having to buy a size up and having to return them because they were too big. If you're even considering buying them... Just Do It. You won't regret it!!

A little too warm, but still great!

Excellent Chaco comfort, and just what I needed. They can get hot though, which I guess is not a bad thing in the current winter weather. Just know that when wearing them inside, you don't need heavy socks!
