You don't need to cram super-thick, uncomfortable socks into your ski boots to keep your feet warm when you have the CEP Men's Progressive Plus Merino Ski Sock. Even though it is lightweight, it's made with merino wool for tons of warmth without the excess material, and the compression fit promotes blood flow to help your feet stay warm. Padded zones relieve pressure points, and an antibacterial treatment keeps odor at bay.

Go to sock for touring and inbounds

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased these socks last season after my ski boot fitter recommended them, and decided to get another pair for this season because I liked them so much. The compression allows for good blood flow, even with really tight ski boots. They are as warm as any sock I have tried, and my toes typically do not get cold until the temps drop below 20. My favorite part about these socks is that the tight fit makes it nearly impossible to get blisters or sores while touring. Granted a tight-ish fit with the ski boot is still best for skinning, the socks make touring more comfortable. The compression fit is pretty warm but also breathable, and is comfortable for spring skiing as well.

    Great Socks

    • Fit: True to size

Ordered these prior to a trip out to Big Sky this winter to kill some numbness I was experiencing from thicker socks. No more cold or numb feet, and was surprised at their ability to hold up day after day under tough conditions. Skied, hiked-to-ski and got after the steeps and powder 4 days on the same socks and never needed to swap to the backups. Very comfortable in cold temperatures down to the teens and would expect them to perform fine at lower temps. 5 stars for sure.

    the perfect ski sock

    • Fit: True to size

The compression on this sock is very efficient, and it substantially increases comfort. It offers great support, and the Merino wool is super soft. It also doesn't retain smell like a normal sock would, which is obviously a plus for those spring days when your gear starts to stink!

    Get the job done.

    • Fit: True to size

These socks offer great compression and comfort. The fabric is durable. They are super easy to pull on, unlike some compression socks. These offer great support for any type of skiing you do. A must have for long days on the slopes!

After measuring my calf I find that I'm right in between sizes III and IV, coming in at 39 cm...would you suggest going up or down in size??
