    Crank with confidence.

The CEP Men's Progressive+ Calf Sleeves 2.0 promotes blood flow in muscles to support excellent circulation whether you're a runner, biker, triathlete, or a cross trainer. This means that these sleeves give you more energy, greater endurance, and less soreness, particularly if you suffer from shin splints. Its nylon and spandex blend manages moisture, breathes, and utilizes odor-reducing silver ions for an antimicrobial performance. These sleeves also feature comfortable top bands for a stay-put fit, and they pair with short-cut socks perfectly.

    Necessary For Runners

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

These should be a part of every runner's quiver. I always wear compression socks/sleeves to prevent injury and improve recovery. These work great and I highly recommend them. Make sure to measure the circumference of your calf before buying them. They won't work as well if you don't get the right size.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: III/M

I bought these for my husband and these are his thoughts:
These are great for recovery and for avoiding calf/achilles injuries. Wearing low drop running shoes these add a layer of injury protection and on the cold winter days they provide a bit of extra layer warmth.
I am on the border between M and L, I went with the III/M (calf of 14.5") and they are a little snug, but I think the next size up would have been too big.

    Feels so good

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium

I have been running in these for a few years and love them. They seem to help with fatigue after long trail runs and keep away some small shin tweaks that I was getting. They work great post run but I also really like how they feel while running. They are also great at keeping mud off your legs when you are out on a sloppy wet trail run. I also like pairing them with CW-X 3/4 stabilyx tights.

    Never run without them

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

At times I have issues with shin splints and it seems to happen when there are a lot of hills. A couple months back I tried these compression sleeves and damn it was a great feeling to finish a run and not feel that pain. Every now and again the shin splints come back and I will wear these for a run and the rest of the day and boom they feel much better. I don't run without them and I probably never will again just so I don't get that reoccurring problem anymore!

    Very Effective

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

My father has circulation and swelling issues in his legs and I bought him a CEP Calf Sleeve a couple years ago hoping he would use it. Not only did he use it, he wore it out. He wears it every day and needed a new one. I just bought him the identical sleeve and he will be all set for another couple of years. I am not a doctor so I don't want to get into the details of the medical benefits but his doctor is happy with the results of wearing the sleeve regularly.

    Compression session

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

    • Size Bought: III/Medium

Just enough compression to do the job without being uncomfortable or impossible to put on. I like to wear them at my desk job right after and/or the day after a good trail run, ski day, etc. I'd recommend trying to use even pressure when pulling them on or off, I have an older pair that has a bit of a hole wearing in it from my thumb. (But the hole doesn't seem to be getting worse since I've started being careful around it.)

I will probably always have one or two pairs of these in the sock drawer.

    Good product

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

These were great for cold weather and for keeping shin splints at bay. One pair lasted me most of the winter run season, Nov-April, with machine washing after each use. I was really surprised to get that much use out of them. Great for long runs!

    They make a difference

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I picked these calf sleeves up because I started to get shin splints after a hiatus from running. I wear these during/post workout or if my shins are ever acting up. They stabilize the muscles and help your legs recover faster.

They may not work for everyone, but it definitely doesn't hurt. I find that wearing these for a couple hours post workout prevents me from getting much soreness in my legs.
